Last night confirmed what we saw last year. Cedi is not a pf. Nor should he defend much in the paint.

Dont know if we have a sf/pf person on our roster currently. mckinnie maybe?

Team shouldn't play him much more in this role unless it is part of the tank plan. sf, with some sg would be ideal for him.

I wouldn't mind seeing him come off the bench,,he just has no offensive role whatsoever with the current starting line up.

He’s part of the reason why the NBA is unwatchable. Just a guy that breathes with no real skill on the court.

No skill? Come on now. Bet you he would succeed on a team with an actual pg who can pass the ball, a center that doesn’t have complete tunnel vision. A PF who actually plays with a bit of effort, and a point guard who isn’t a rookie scared to even shoot a 3 point shot

Man...I'm just not a fan of Cedi. Really bummed we signed he to a four year extension. He's a role player at best off the bench.

Which why he was signed to bench role player money....

It's a highly trade-able contract so it's really not a concern. His body language hasn't been the best and he's clearly frustrated with his new role off the ball. I also feel the frustration he feels when they trot him out there as a PF :-(

So it’s everybody else but him ? Ok!

He's a roleplayer and just signed a MLE type roleplayer extension.
He's actually good in his role as a wing/backup SF type but he should not be playing PF or you get what we saw last night. He's actually above replacement value in his proper role. There is just a dearth of talented players at his size in the league right now. Any decent roleplaying 6'-7" wing is getting overpaid in today's NBA.

Not saying it isn’t also his fault, but to say he has no skill is nonsense
Well what skill are you seeing ?

Not a shooter
Not a ball handler
Can’t post up
Limited footwork
Average finisher
Average defender
Average rebounder
Average passer
Doesn’t set screens well
No pick and pop game

He plays kinda hard so I’ll give him that... But um yeah not seeing much consistently enough

He might be a starting 2. We will never know because our players only ever play up a position or 2, never down.

How can he be a starting 2? He can't dribble worth a lick, soon as he puts the ball down its a turnover.

That is an unfortunate symptom to having too many undersized guards.

With Sexton, Clarkson, Garland, etc., there just aren't minutes leftover to experiment with guys like Cedi or to a lesser extent KPJ at the 2.....at least not as much as you would like.

Needs to be a priority to move Clarkson, so we free up minutes to cycle more of our wings in to minutes at the 2.....to see if any of them work with Sexton or Garland.
