Thought I would make a thread to keep track of any interesting sales with Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Christmas coming up. But I figured this could be used any time of the year.

I noticed Ebay has some decent deals going on right now. I'm sure Amazon will have some closer to Black Friday.

Things I'm looking at are Tv's, laptops, and maybe PSVR if it's cheap enough. I probably should be looking for Christmas gifts too.

Brooks Brothers has several sales ongoing this week.

Suites from $449. Lots of Red Fleece at 40% off.

I'm trying to figure out how hard Ebay is boosting their claimed discount on some of the deals. I know some prices are jacked up to make it look like a better deal than it is. Like they have some MacBooks they claim are $1000 for 400. I think there was a Razer laptop similar priced at 400. Thing is, I feel like you can get same/better deals on refurbished or used.

And I'm intrigued by the tv deals but sketched out of ordering online. Especially since I live in a crappy apartment, I don't know how delivery would work out. I might be forced to buy from Wal-Mart either way for that.

If you are worried about getting something shipped to your apartment, you could get it shipped to your work. Also I think FedEx and UPS will let you pick it up at their stores instead of home delivery.

Are most of the sales known by now? Or will more reveal closer to Black Friday? I'm thinking about picking up a tv early because I don't see a sale that is particularly relevant to me.

It's probably a good time to poach used items too while people upgrade their stuff.

I got some killer deals online black friday last year on both Walmart and Amazon. The limited time/lightning deals.

correction, it was cyber monday I got the best deals last year. I went back and checked orders.

Some pretty good TV deals at Costco but other then that I can’t think of anything I want.

I’m looking for a basic laptop for my dad. Not sure what a good one/deal would be?

Unless he's going to be sitting at a table or desk, iPad or something similar is better than a laptop because you can use it sitting on a couch watching TV. Laptops are too heavy and inconvenient for that (unless it's one that converts to a tablet)

the new 10.2 inch iPads are $100 off today ($229 for 32GB at target, $329 for 128 GB at Best Buy).

Can add this keyboard (also on sale) to sit at table and type
