Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Thought "Midway" was really well done. I quite enjoyed it.

I'm glad to see you say so.

These war movies are usually just not good.

Zombie land 2 didn’t suck and I fell asleep during Maleficent, which is weird, because the first one was great.

I'd give Joker an 8, though Joaquin Phoenix gets the full Nigel Tufnel.

I'm not sure that I actually enjoyed most of the movie, though. It was quite often unpleasant amd somewhat difficult to watch. Not sure I'll watch it again, either.

But a well-crafted movie nonetheless.

Parasite was incredible. A pretty perfect film.

One of my favorite Coen flicks ever; this scene had me in tears for some reason; it’s edited so perfectly.

Something about their approach to humor just opens my soul.

Ford vs. Ferrari- 9/10
Long-ish movie but really kept my interest. Great storyline and acting all around.

Frozen 2 was meh. Songs were forgettable, and plot was mediocre.

However, your young kids will like it.

Felt like our three year old lost interest about half way through, and I've seen Frozen about 50 times in the last 3 weeks.

Compare it to Pearl Harbor.

Never saw Pearl Harbor to be able ro compare it. The only movie that I have seen that focused on Pearl Harbor was "Tora!Tora!Tora! and that was quite some time ago. Saw it with a sailor that was at Pearl.

Saw Philip Glass' opera Akhnaten Live from the Met at the theater. Almost four hours and it flew by.

A must for Egyptian history fans.

Very similar first piece to that of Dr. Manhattan's piece in Watchmen, which was from Glass' score from a film from the early 80s Koyaanisqatsi.

Agreed. Caught it at the Cedar Lee today and it was unlike anything I've seen this year. The satire and social commentary was sharp, performances were a mix between eccentric and subtle (like a great theater production), and it kept me glued to the screen the entire time.

As good as "The Irishman" was, it felt like 3.5 hours. This was probably the best flick I've caught all year and those two hours flew by. Just brilliant filmmaking better than any of the latest remakes or sequels.

I wouldn't watch a review or read anything about the movie until you see it. It's a movie that rewards going in blind and just letting it all unfold through the story.

Absolutely. I also went in as blind as possible because I heard it was Bong Joon Ho's masterpiece and that was enough. Knew I was going to see it regardless, so might as well go in fresh. Like most Korean cinema, there's an effortless transition between drama, comedy and horror elements. Just so good.
