Kluber Traded to Rangers

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If you ever get to Northern Virginia, let me know, and we'll go to Aslin. It's become a hangout spot for me since you told me to try it. Aslin Trite has always been a favorite IPA, but I underestimated how good some of their stouts and sours are.
The one in Alexandria ?

So, you agree it was about acquiring talent and not about dumping salary?
Yes. Why just let him walk? Sign him. Then trade him. There would always be a market. 17 mil is not a crazy deal. Especially for one year
They got two players who are major leaguers and will be in cleve next year
Clase and Karinchak can be formidable soon

deshields. At this point i would trade allen for a high a or double a pitcher

use 5-6 million for our second baseman

i would do the lindor trade if lux is included as well

I'll be at the National Conference Center in Leesburg for the National Toys for Tots meeting next year. Day ends around 4:30 or so, so I should be available on a night or two.

That was my question as well from reading that tweet. As much as I would like them to be players in the Ozuna market based on his extremely impressive xWOBA and xSLG numbers in recent years, I’d be more than glad if they can use their funds to sign Cesar Hernandez, Corey Dickerson and extend Bieber and Clevinger.
Ozuna declined his QO, so there is a draft pick to lose by the team that signs him. Donaldson is in the same boat.

Leesburg is one of the most fun beer cities in the area. Remind me when we get closer, but I’d love to get together!

DeShields led the league in Sac Bunts in '17 and '18.

Ramirez led in '14 and Lindor in '15.

I think our team could lead the league this year.

I'm excited.
Sacrifice bunt our way to a World Championship said nobody.

Bruce Bochy might argue with you, but if the ball is still juiced I'll pipe down and agree.

Not juiced... Larger seams that make the ball go further. Lol. They did blame the seams, right?

Maybe but the issue is actually flatter seams.

Makes the ball rounder.

The rounder the ball, the less air resistance and drag.

So is the ball juiced or not

With the exception of 2010, Bochy's teams have been below league average in number of sac bunts in every single year of his 25 years as a manager.

My point was more along the lines of "small ball" and winning with low scoring games making a resurgence in the past eight years or so, until the home run and high scores made a comeback. I'm not even disagreeing. DeShields is a defensive fourth outfielder in a time where they have less value than they held a few years ago.
