2019 NFL Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

I remember early in the year Thomas was speaking out and then they won 12 in a row so nothing came of it

Seems like hes a big candidate to poison the locker room whenever they’re Not winning 12 in a row. This is peak lack of accountability

Texans trying to make an even bigger statement than the Titans last night.

Up 14-0 with a blocked punt returned for a TD and we're not even five minutes in.

Houston starts the game with a long pass play for a TD and then blocks a punt and returns it for a TD. Wow.

So just for the record, the Browns lost to:

Titans, Ravens, Seahawks, Niners, Patriots, Steelers, Cards, Bengals, Broncos, Rams

Titans, Ravens, Seahawks, Niners and Pats are all playoff teams. Steelers, Rams and Broncos were close to the playoffs. The team had fully collapsed when they got to the Cards who were pretty scrappy and the Bengals who are not.

Makes you think that with a good coach, better prep and better QB play they’re not so far away. Easy from down here to say that in an organization with terrible culture that a “good coach” is going to happen over night.

We can do this "lost to good teams" every year, and not see any improvement the following year.

However, this was also the 5th hardest schedule in the league by opponent win%, unlike a lot of previous 5-or-6-win type years, so if we just play a "normal" schedule or even an easy one like 2014, we could see improvement just by that.

To add to that, we actually split with PIT and BAL and of course CIN.

Incidentally, that ARI team was playing better than their record, as they came out the next week and beat Seattle on the road, which wasn't that surprising in the sense that we looked better against SEA than the Cards.

Did you see the play design on that long TD? Absolutely brilliant play call; Kenny Stills didn't have a defender within ten yards of him.

It's not too early to believe that HOU won't runaway with this one. Watson can put him 21 points with ease. As good as people think KC is I wouldn't assume that they will just catchup.

KC’s receivers shouldn’t have dipped their hands in Crisco before the game :chuckle:

Oh yeah. Their receivers have a little bit of the yips so far...

Eager to see what Houston does with this drive. KC very well could spot them a three score lead before the first quarter is finished.

Their defense is atrocious.

And now a muffed punt. KC with a TON of mental lapses so far.
