I'm happy for Andy Reid.

As an Eagle fan, I've had the ups and downs with him but so glad to see him and that team bring one home. That defense, like last year in the AFCCG against the Cheaters, overachieved. Mahomes had his worst game of the post season until the 4th quarter. He's better than Boody to me, and it would have been a travesty not to see him win a championship. Tyreek Hill almost blew it for them but the team brought it all in and shoved the dagger in late. Kelce was HUUUUUUUUUUGE. Now both of the Kelces have championships. GOOD! So does LeSean McCoy, who was part of the "last ditch" Eagles under Andy and a terror to the other NFC East teams. Kind of wish Maclin was still over there so he could have nabbed one.

I don't think we've seen the end of the Niners -- solid team all around and the only thing I dislike about it is Bosa, who is a bitch-ass fill in the blank. Wish he were in Dallas or New England so I could hate properly. That being said, tough break for Shanahan who got foiled by Jimmy G turning into a pumpkin when it came time to throw the ball. Still like Jimmy over there, and still laughing at the Cheatriots for letting him go.

All in all, a great Super Bowl, made greater since it was Boody and Cheatriots free. Last year was the lamest coronation ever, and it actually made me hate Sean McVay.

(Baker is going to be better than Goff)

Jimmy G's basic ass is going to be the bane of the 49ers existence.
I was shocked at how little he is ask to do. That running game is amazing, jimmy G is damn decent. However not good enough to win things on his own

I think @Walter White is still getting busy! We'll hear from his ass when he sobers up. Next week, my guess. Soak this shit up, my man.

Oh. My. God.

I still can't believe it. I'm in shock. And me having a heart attack was not far off. My heart was pumping so hard all game. Even before the game, I couldn't sleep because my heart was pumping. Slept about 3 hours last two days. And at the end, my heart about burst out of my chest.

This is one of the most special moments I've ever had in my lifetime. Watching it with family who are diehards and indoctrinated me in as a Chiefs fan at birth. Who have been through all the heartbreaks and still had relentless support. I wanted them to win so bad for so many people. I can't even describe the feeling man.

I might reflect more on the game later, but it seemed like it all happened so fast. I was so nervous it was hard to concentrate. What a hard fought game. What a special night!!!

So as much I want to break down the actual football...

...can we all agree that was the best halftime show in years!?!?

I was at a Super Bowl party hosted by Browns fans in SF. We had fun. Them my wife let it slip that my celebrity crush happens to be Shakira.

I became the center of conversation for the halftime show, but I feel like everyone wanted to fuck Shakira by the end of her performance.

Prove me wrong.

There was a Browns fans SB party in SF?

Good to know. ;)

We are all very happy for you!

Chiefs fans deserve it! Great fan base.

But, your run ends next season!

Baker is coming for you, and even if the Browns lose, he just might eat all the BBQ in the state.

Please also compare and contrast this moment with the Cavs winning a championship

Lot of bitching about the halftime show in my Quakerish town. Words like “pornographic”, “too sexual”, “sex talk” and things like that being bantered about.

I was thinking about that. I was way more emotional with the Cavs. When the Cavs won, I let out a guttural yell so loud you could probably hear it in space. And I cried so hard for about half an hour. It was more a relief. Same feeling of wanting it so bad and it being a close game. And how bad I wanted it for all the Cleveland fans too.

But pretty similar with there being a drought, breaking curses, and it going to a deserving fan base. For the Chiefs, it was the first time for me being near the home state of the fan base and actually around other fans/family who share the passion (since nobody cares about NBA much in Kansas). The Royals thing was cool but I'm a casual fan of them. So it was a different vibe/experience for sure. It was truly one of the best days of my life to share with family. But I really feel like RCF is my family too so it was special to share that Cavs chip with you all too.

But I think this is the Cavs 50th season and it has been 50 years since Chiefs won. There are probably more connections. I feel like both wins were completely destiny being in that dramatic fashion. I was holding back tears but it wasn't the explosion like I had with Cavs. I got to enjoy this one in a more joyous fashion, even though even thinking about my family about brings me to tears.

KC with more titles than us in the past 50 years.

Since I'm awake and only slept 3 hours, I might as well reflect on the game:

It was kind of a weird game. The Niners opened up the playbook early and didn't get much to show for it. Which was the weird part because I feel like they were constantly getting big chunk plays and getting what they wanted. Yet they just didn't execute in the red zone or something? I'm not sure how that was possible. I guess the Chiefs creating a couple turnovers was part of it and both teams eating clock.

Mahomes was having a tough time. The Niners defense was legit for sure. A big reason was because he had zero time in the pocket. But even then, he was missing throws he normally makes. But he got the job done in the end. He had tough runs and took hits, big runs for 1st down. He rushed a TD. He had huge clutch throws. Even though he threw 2 picks, he grinded out an ugly game and this experience will do him wonders. Damien Williams was huge, he was just as deserving of SB MVP.

But the defense. They stepped up big when it counted most. Honey Badger is easily my 2nd favorite player on the team. His leadership and attitude totally transformed the defense along with Spagnuolo. I love Frank Clark too. His production doesn't measure up to his salary, but it seems like he makes the big plays late when you need him. His attitude was another big factor that gave our defense some identity.

Jimmy had way more time to throw. I don't know if it is because their offensive line is that much better or the run game really let him play action and stand in the pocket forever. If Mahomes had half that kind of time, we would have scored 40+. Even with that pass rush we had our chances to. We blew a couple opportunities and like I said, Pat missed throws he normally makes.

I still think the 49ers had the better team on paper. And when we were down 20-10, that lead felt insurmountable in this type of game. But this Chiefs team truly had heart and persevered all post-season long. Now the question is how much of this roster we can keep together.
