Myles Garrett : NFL 2023 DPOY

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
He is not looking her in the eyes. I have a strange feeling from this.

I just saw an interview with Malcolm Gladwell where he said even trained FBI agents are terrible at telling if someone is telling the truth or not based on these body language heuristics.

We have no reason not to believe Myles. If he says Mason said it then he said it

I’d bet there are others in here that have acted, done standup comedy or became good liars as kids out of necessity. All of those things require dishonesty at some level.

If you’re good at being dishonest, you know that you SHOULD look the person in the eye when you’re being dishonest.

If you’re good at reporting information back, you might look away from the person during a story because it’s useful to help you recall a situation frame by frame. You don’t have to focus on a person’s face and social cues and all the baggage that comes with that in addition to the story.

I’d throw the looking in someone’s eyes thing out the window with the “looking in a specific direction” while telling a lie.

Test yourself and see what you do when you lie or tell the truth to someone.

There is audio of 99.9% of all NFL plays. Just not that one. Makes sense, NFL.
Pouncey and the other inbreds are just protecting their teammate. Once he’s off the team, someone will ask again and the truth will come out.

Is it really necessary to call the Steelers "inbreds"?

It's one thing to have a rivalry. It's one thing to talk shit about another organization. But when we start referring to players themselves as inbred, how does that make us look? Imagine someone from the outside seeing this. What would their opinion of Browns fans be?

As someone that grew up on the river in a town with half Steelers/half Browns fans, it was the West Virginians that were inbred. Not the Steeler's fans. They were just generally stupid.

Fair point -- it's not the Steelers players themselves who are inbred.

It's their fans.

I really couldn't care less about Steeler's fans when it comes to this mess
it's the media that drives me nuts. Between their need to virtue-signal and their propensity to be over-dramatic, they completely fucked Myles garrett
Bill Burr still has the best take on all of this
