Ok trade for Trent Williams. 2nd rounder?

I was thinking about this today. I would trade a 3rd for him, knowing he will take a huge contract. Then i would still draft a tackle at 10. And watch that offensive line destroy everyone leading the browns to a super bowl.

then me and my wife would bang emma watson

"I always wanted to do that, man. And I think if the browns went to the Super Bowl I could hook that up, cause chicks dig a Super Bowl"

Response: "Well, not all chicks."

"Well the kind of chicks that'd double up on a dude like me do."

Something something karma something something passed down generations something something?

Although seriously I hope the rank-and-file employees find new work ASAP and are well-supported financially in the interim.

Like father, like son. I guess they both run businesses with the same high quality.

Well, cousin/nephew/uncle. It doesn't appear that Shart and his side of the tree were ever involved in the family business.

At least the sporting goods side of the family has the excuse of trying to run a brick-and-mortar retail chain, which is hardly easy; it looks like they were trying to sell an unprofitable product at too high a price. Hence the karma being "passed down" rather than directly 100% deserved.

Shart was in a money-printing, revenue-sharing* venture and still managed to go broke.

*I think regardless of where we are on the issues and such, we can find dark irony in his frequent "We're 30 Republicans who vote socialist" comment about he and fellow NFL owners, in which he always referenced the mostly uncontroversial practice of revenue sharing between teams, rather than his more-sinister trademark and precedent of the "socialism" of public stadium financing.

Here is a round up of NFL activity as of 16 March 2020.

  • Houston Texans stupidly trade DeAndre Hopkins for a 4th and the corpse of David Johnson.
  • Buffalo goes big and acquires Stefan Diggs sending this year's 1st, 5th and 6th, and a 2021 4th to the Vikings. If Diggs was pissed at Pretty Kirk, then I can't wait to see how he likes Josh Allen missing him 66% of the time.
  • Marcus Mariota signs with the Raiders to give them depth at the Busting QB position.
  • Ryan Tanna- Tannen... Hill, signs for too much in Tenness.. 10IC. (That's how Prince would have spelled it, @KI4MVP)
  • Amari Cooper stays with the crowd of overpaid players in Dalles with a 5-year $100 million deal.
  • Byron Jones is probably overpaid with a 5-$82 million in Miami. Maybe not? Seems a little much.
  • Jimmie Ward staying in SF, but...
  • 49ers send All-Pro, and my former neighbor, DeForest Bruckner to Indy for the Colts' first. DB signs an obscene contract with the Colts to consummate their new partnership.
  • Jamie Collins picks a new team to quit on for too much. Detroit I think or whatever. He's a bum.
  • Kyle Van Noy gets paid by Miami. 4-$51 million. Nice.
  • James Bradbury escapes the Carolina rebuild, signing with, uh, the New York Giants powerhouse, for a handsome 3-$45 million.
  • Also, somehow because fucking bullshit, Calais Campbell is heading to the Ratbirds for only a 5th. Da fuq? I hate that Baltimore has a first-rate organization. Always making good moves.
  • Also, also, madman GM dude in Houston redresses his loss of the best WR in the NFL with Randall Cobb. Evidently O'Brien still thinks its 2014 or something because Cobb isn't even a real starter anymore.

And some other moves, but they don't interest me much.

Stay healthy!

Freaking awesome. I love it. Brady playing somewhere else is gonna be a spectacle.

The grass is always greener, huh

If it isn't going to work out with the Patriots, Tom should just retire. This is not going to work out like Manning in Denver...it's merely going to end up a smudge on the back end of his otherwise GOAT legacy.
