The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Just finished sekiro. What an experience. So difficult. Can’t imagine how many times I died. I’d imagine over 1000. I stated earlier that I was an average gamer and boy was that challenging. Towards the end I had confidence like none other. Today I beat the sword saint which is being argued as the hardest video game boss ever. Boy was he hard. Probably died 70 times. One of my favorite games ever. Such a challenge and towards the end you really surprise yourself with how far you’ve come. The fights seem like a song and dance and you really learn the move set of each boss. They all have their own uniqueness. 10/10 what an experience!

I've found myself hanging out with Arthur Morgan again amidst the corona scare. Doing a bunch of side missions my girlfriend tells me to do, mostly of the spooky variety (vampire hunting, zombie people, etc).

Damn there is so much depth to Red Dead Redemption. I just wish the gunplay mechanics weren't so wonky at times.

Come on Rockstar - Announce GTA 6 already!

One of my all time favorite games, and one of the only ones that I've ever hit platinum in.

Different company and certainly a different play style, but I'm pumped for Ghost of Tsushima. That's likely to be a day one purchase for me.

Thank God Animal Crossing and Doom come out tomorrow. If my job ever gets quarantined, imma be set.

I've been replaying Arkham City since I signed up for PS Now for various other games and saw it was streamable.

Game remains a masterpiece.

Anyone in the Alpha for the new Dungeon Defenders?

The first game was so good. The 2nd game was very poorly planned and the progression made zero sense at all.

I got back into Slay the Spire. Can't get into heavy games right now because of the situation, and Slay the Spire is just easy to play.
Fantastic game, and they keep adding content. Highly, highly recommended.

Other great easy single-player games like this are FTL and Into the Breach.

Into the Breach was awesome playing through the first two or three times. Got boring after that but for the price you get plenty of gameplay.

Slay the Spire is one of my favorite more casual games. It's not casual from a difficulty standpoint but it doesn't require lightning reflexes or anything like that. It's all deck building and strategy, along with enough random chance to keep you on your toes.

I agree. I think FTL has more replay value.

I've kept both of them, Slay the Spire, and Stellaris on my desktop for years now. Other than Dota and sports games, they're the only things I've found replay value in over the past decade.

For me, I've had Team Fortress 2 installed for the better part of a decade and still play it casually. Been playing it for about an hour every day lately since there's nowhere to go at night and I have extra free time as a consequence.

Slay the Spire is one I revisit frequently too. I've also been playing all three Arkham games simultaneously for some reason, although I've kind of settled into Arkham City as the one I want to finish the most because it's the best of the three. Might replay Origins too if this quarantine lasts long enough. Thought the gameplay was a bit janky in that one but the story is great.

Ori is awesome. Sat down and put some hours in today. Really cheered me up from the shitty depressed mood I’ve been in. Can’t recommend it enough- the movement and platforming is as exhilarating as ever.

I got a little bit into the first one, then put it down to play Doom Eternal. Gonna go back and finish after Doom most likely, then hopefully head onto the second one.

Any word on Warcraft 3 Reforged being fixed up yet?
