First, I'd like to welcome all the new members of RCF coming from the defunct Indians Baseball Insider.
Since we all have plenty of time on our hands these days I thought it might be good to share some good baseball reading.
I recently came across an outstanding book titled The MVP Machine by Lindbergh and Sawchick. Let me assure you this is NOT a sabermetrics book. This IS a player development book. Particularly the new age of player development using high tech, and data to change mediocre players into good players, and good players into great players.
Fans of Trevor Bauer will love this book as he, and his training methods are a big part of this book. When he first came to the Tribe, many thought his methods were goofy. Now many have been adopted by most clubs in baseball.
