New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
When did this become a saying? I've only heard of it within the last few months.

I have personally never heard the comment until this week's Rick and Morty. Although the phrase was added to urban dictionary in 2005.

I've definitely heard it before, but I can't remember the last time. College, maybe?

Also, this scene is absolutely brilliant:

I'm watching Handmaid's Tale right now. It is so well made...powerfully done.

I wonder if there are people that watch this rooting for the government.

Just finished it. Boy is Elizabeth Moss a great actress. It makes me want to watch Mad Men again.

Wasn't that father/daughter karate episode insane?

That was one of the funniest things I've seen in years.

Incredible writing. The slow realization on Barry's part, including a slow zoom out to reveal the trophies and medals, that the guy is a martial arts master is utter genius.

When she jumped on the car and Fuches yelled “ITS HER!!!!” My gf and I totally died.

Excellent blend of taking a serious look at human struggle and a dark twist of humor.

I think I heard a few years ago.

But only from gay friends who meant it literally when referring to exes with great bodies.

We've been binge watching Dead to Me on Netflix. It's really good.

My fear that there will be a drop off in new shows seems to be coming true. The CW and Fox aren't even scheduling new scripted shows for the fall. The CW is basically buying cancelled shows from other services to put on for the fall.

Yeah, The Flash had three more episodes to film to close the season but now they're just saying Episode 19 was the season finale.

All the CW shows will be premiering in January 2021 instead of the Autumn.

I think we are going to see alot of random tv shows from Australia, UK, and Canada that has yet to be picked up by a stream service and we will see them air in broadcast tv. CW picked up Swamp Thing which was cancelled immediately after it debuted on DC universe. They also have Bullet Proof as a summer tv show which they got the US rights to from Sky in the UK.

Is Jar Jar in every season of Clone Wars? I'm nearing the end of season 1 and am considering stopping just because of him.

I think he appears significantly less as the series moves on.

I'm a few episodes into season 3 and I can't remember the last time I saw him, or at least minded his presence. Got the wife watching Clone Wars with me, so we took a break to start watching the films to get her caught up.

I watched episodes 1 and 2 the past two nights, and wow is he obnoxious. I expected to come in and enjoy both movies without the pressure they had when they first came out. "They can't be that bad, right? We just overreacted because they had such high expectations"

Nope, episode 1 is complete trash. The dialog is some of the worst I've ever seen in a movie. Episode 2 was decent for a Star Wars film.

I remember liking Episode 3. We'll see if it's still good. I'm excited to watch Rogue One and A New Hope back-to-back.

You need to watch the last two episodes of Clone Wars and then Episode III before watching Rogue One and Episode IV.

Those episodes definitely enforce the real horror of Order 66 in a way that makes Episode III slightly better.

Upload was decent. It was a quick watch with a The Good Place vibe to it. I'll watch season 2 when it comes out.
