New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Got to this wonderful scene in my rewatch of The Wire:

This is one of the few shows that isn't at all diminished on subsequent viewings. Every time I watch it, I'm just reminded of how much I love it. It doesn't matter that I know what's going to happen.

It’s not too bad. It lacks the spooky feeling you had when you were a kid. It’s more like a
In depth dateline or 20/20 investigation show.

The spookiness was the best part!

I remember Robert Stack for two things (other than being Elliot Ness, but that was well before my time), scaring me on Unsolved Mysteries, and "I can't deal with that right now" as Ultra Magnus after Optimus Prime died.

Just switch it over to German and read.

wife wouldn't watch it that way. getting less annoyed with the dubbing. I think the issue is at times the acoustics were all wrong. I don't know if that's gotten better or if I'm just paying more attention to the story.

Now if I could only keep all of the people straight and not have to think, wait, who was that, when they show someone who hasn't been on screen in a while. We're about 5 episodes in now, maybe 6, I don't look at the episode number because I try to not know when I'm on the last episode of a season.

also don't know how people here watch so many shows, I only watch about 2 hours/night and feel like that presses on my time.

Work from home allows you to just leave the TV on all day.

Episode 5. Good one. UFO encounter.
Thats the good stuff lol

I’ve got 2 episodes left of Dark. Really looking forward to see how everything wraps up. Honestly have no idea what direction they’re going to go.

I work from home too, but can't watch anything I need to actually pay attention to while I'm working. I do too many things at once as it is.

I usually rewatch shows while I'm working and save fresh ones for when I can focus. I'm burning through The Wire right now because I leave it on all day and only pay half attention to it. I've seen it so many times that it doesn't matter if I don't catch everything. I lock in during the important scenes, or the funny ones that I really like, but other than that I just catch random lines in any given scene and that's enough.

I channel my inner Robert Stack every time I'm opening a hard to open jar. "Open damn it, open."

And now it's time to rewatch the movie for the 18th million time. My job might be boring, but I'm getting paid to get stoned and watch Transformers cartoons.

My fondest memory of Stack is when he does Unsolved Mysteries in BASEketball and the guy they're looking for is on national television at the time and he says, "Update: We still have no fucking clue where this guy is."

Doesn't have the part you're quoting since that's at the end of the movie, but the whole thing is gold.

I've always hoped an NFL team would do Riverdance in the end zone after scoring like in the movie's intro.

I read that Transformers the Movie was Stack's first voice over work and he took great pride in it.

I thought he did a good job. He really gave a good account of a war weary veteran who feels is most certainly not worthy of leadership and might be well over his head. He nails "Prime, I'm not worthy, I'm just a soldier."

That said, he is a far better leader than Rodimus Prime.
