I do game on PC, and it used to be my primary. 60” 4K TVs and recliners just eventually made consoles my primary source of gaming over the past generation. I’d buy Halo on console way before I’d buy it on PC. Not having to worry about fucking around with settings and FPS is nice too.
Still game a lot on PC though. Mostly stuff like strategy games and MMOs that suck on console or aren’t there at all. Havent really seen any PS exclusives coming to PC besides Horizon, 3 years after it came out on console... some rumors about Bloodborne which is 5 years old... I dunno. Rather just play it on PS5.
I don't think it's in Sony's best interests to have their exclusives release at the same time on both their console and PC, so I imagine that we'll continue to see them release a couple of years later once they're already bargain titles on the console. It's just free revenue for them. They get to re-release the game at full price to a new audience and it's pretty much guaranteed to sell. Plus, a lot of people will buy the game again to take advantage of any graphical upgrades and new features that are on the PC release.
Honestly surprised they didn't think of it sooner.
