Pitching

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Jup. Pepto Bismol might help if you’re thinking of throwing something up! Lol!
Edited it to look like this

incidentally is about 40% FBs which the Indians have finally come to embrace after the  "Mickey" years.

Maybe one of these days I will throw something up in this thread.

in your honor Marty :celb (7):

It is what he needed to do several years back. And I am happy for him and all Cleveland fans should be also.

In the modern era, a cutter is the workhorse pitch. Starters that don't throw them just stack the odds against themselves. That is why you see Biebs with one now also. It has to do with the speed, the movement profile, the inability for hitters to distinguish them and the distribution of pitches thrown in a game that is optimum. Which incidentally is about 40% FBs which the Indians have finally come to embrace after the  "Mickey" years.

Maybe one of these days I will throw something up in this thread.

Out of curiosity, who is your favorite pitcher or pitchers of all time?

Out of curiosity, why Lincecum?
So I am a Pac 10 guy (12 now). Lince comes along and is just tearing it up at UW. Sets all sorts of K records on his way to the '06 Golden Spikes award.

Then along comes Bauer. The absolute spitting image (delivery wise) of Lince out of HS headed to UCLA. And damn if he doesn't start tearing up the records and heading for Lince's all time strike out mark on his way to the Spikes in '11.

It was just real easy to be a fan (like Sosa and McGuire for pitching Nerds, even if they didn't play simultaneously at the D1 level). That is if you follow college baseball, which I do (at least Pac12).
