I think you have written this exact same post several times.
I am very intrigued with a quote I read from Windhorst recently:
"I suspect first-round picks will be for sale in this draft," a team executive told ESPN's Brian Windhorst. "We haven't really seen that in a decade."
I am looking at which teams have the least stable financial situation:
Orlando Magic, Indiana Pacers, Utah Jazz, OKC Thunder, Washington Wizards, Phoenix Suns and Sacramento Kings seem to have the most favorable combination of lesser franchise value and less wealth in the ownership group. I am also intrigued by the pressure
Milwaukee must be feeling with a short window to win before Greek Freak is a potential free agent.
At the very least, I would guess some high second rounders should be for sale if Deep Pockets Dan wants to buy a pick. We may see a trade with players involved with money attached to bail one of those teams out.
So it is valuable to target weaker franchises who rely on gate revenue. The bottom line is that wing talent wins championships in the modern NBA, and the Cavaliers are weakest in wing talent and strongest in the support positions. I hope to see trades with some of the bolded teams.
