Well, the vast majority of college football players know they have no chance of being drafted next year, and an even larger number know they aren't first round locks.Oh there is no way in hell they are playing the spring.
Why in the world would players, especially those who could be top picks in the NFL draft, put their career on the line twice in a calendar year for nothing?
So while 2-3 dozen of the biggest names might opt out, college football is much more than just those players. I'd guess nobody will have a problem fielding a team
