New TV Series to watch

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Ok this new Netflix show, Cobra Kai, has real potential. I'm liking the first few episodes so far.

It's the two kids from the first Karate Kid, only much older now. It's good.

Meanwhile, tried to watch the new Spike Lee movie on Netflix that had Chadwick Boseman in it, Da 5 Bloods.

It was....dreadful. It's been a long time since Spike has mad a good movie. Kinda sad.

Just finished Shameless (US version). Freaking hilarious.

Watching The Americans now.

Shameless is fantastic. Haven't watched the most recent season on Netflix yet but the show is one of my favorites.

The Americans is probably one of the ten best shows ever made, so you're in for a treat.

Cobra Kai was actually on YouTube’s paid streaming service before. Not sure if they sold the rights to Netflix or what but I watched the free episodes on YouTube before and loved it but didn’t want to subscribe to YouTube. I’ll be watching the entire thing now that it’s part of Netflix.

Cobra Kai was great. It's not meant to be high quality, but it plays so well...at least to me. I laughed out loud at so many parts. Zabka was great in it. Dude is stuck in the 80's. I loved it.

Yea when he has the kid cleaning his windows and the kid asks if there was any certain way he wanted it done and he said "I don't give a shit" I laughed for a good couple of minutes. His humor is extremely well-timed. Why the hell didn't he manage to land more roles over the years?

It takes a psychological toll when you are a method actor and you get beat by a wimp like Daniel Larusso and a fat old man like Rodney Dangerfield.

I started a Justified rewatch recently. Boyd Crowder is the best character in TV history. Fight me.

Also, Walton Goggins would be amazing as the Joker in a Batman movie.

From what I have read he does a lot of stuff behind the camera when not doing some roles.

He was nominated for an Academy Award for writing and producing a documentary in 2003.

And don't forget, he had a choice role in Hot-tub Time Machine.

Jesus Christ, you need a database for keeping track of what goes down in Dark once you pass the middle of season 2. Shit makes game of thrones look like seem like an episode of Sesame Street.

Obviously that’s an overtly drastic comparison and I’m being dramatic but if it weren’t for subtitles helping me to retain it I’d be fucked.

I had to rewatch the show prior to each season being released because I couldn't remember half of the crazy shit that happens.

Just watched the first episode of the new season of The Boys.

Happy to report that this show hasn’t missed a beat.

Nice.

That last episode was amazing.

Having watched the first 3, I concur. You can start to see all the storylines falling into place.

First three episodes were fantastic.

We’ve been spoiled by the ability to binge watch entire seasons of shows in a day. I want to watch the rest already.

I might re-watch The Boys before watching the new season. I did that for The Umbrella Academy too. It helped a lot.
