The "What are you playing now?" Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Im very interested in demon souls since I never played it on ps3 and it looks like its not coming to ps4. I also missed out on the spiderman game because my ps4 broke. So im in for the spiderman edition that gives you remastered original plus miles morales as well as demon souls. That gives me plenty to play between that and my pc.

Exactly what I preordered with my PS5. Demons Souls is the only Soulsborne game I've yet to play. I'll probably fly through Miles Morales and then spend about 200+ hours on Souls. Cannot wait.

The demo looked outstanding and one thing I want to point out that seems minor but isn’t. In souls games the fog means it has to load a new area. Even on my pc with dark souls 3 it took a little too long for my tastes.

Did you notice how it was pretty much instantaneous? For the first time in awhile consoles have a bit of a leg up on pc. This tone in regards to io as rtx io that is set to improve loading times on pc probably won’t be hitting until sometime in 2021.

And, I know it's next gen and all, but damn does that game look good. I'm used to the framerate and animations being a little bit laggy, but that game looks silky smooth.

Souls games on consoles are legendary for awful frametime performance which causes a bunch of stutter. this is due to the incredibly awful Jaguar cpus that were used last generation. Jaguar to 8 core 16 thread zen 2 is a quantum leap performance wise.

Rocket league just went free to play if anyone hasn't played it yet.

Anyone try Hades yet? Looks amazing.

Time is the currency that is more precious to me when it comes to gaming these days.

That's the truth. Started my new job this week. Up around 630ish every morning. stayed up until midnight that night playing rocket league. Last night I passed out before 10 pm.

My group that I play with are gonna play some of Rocket league and probably Rogue company or pubg.

I picked up Among Us last night at the urging of one of my friends, who has apparently been playing it a ton with a bunch of the guys I used to play Team Fortress 2 with back when we all played it regularly and many of us played it competitively. Since it was late and it was just us two online, I found us a random Discord to join on reddit so we had an actual group to play with, as we started with some pub games and it was boring.

Once we had a real group of ten, the game became immensely more fun. I was drunk and high but somehow still managed to bullshit and gaslight my way through five impostor wins. My time as a good guy was more of a mixed bag, as I had a tendency to pick the wrong people to vote to their death. But hey, it was still pretty fun. :chuckle:

Legends Mode on Ghost of Tsushima is pretty fun, albeit challenging.

Maybe that’s because I put the game down for awhile after platinum and I just need to get used to it again, but I don’t remember the base game being quite as tough.

Any motherfuckers on Baldurs Gate 3 early access?

Should i? Or should I wait for the full release? I'm fine waiting--i want to have the full start to finish experience in one run.

BG2 is one of my favorite games of all time. I still play through it at least once every two years.

My wife and I got early access and it's a lot of fun. Character creator is great, but there's has been bugs throughout the whole thing. As long as you're fine dealing with that then it's worth it. I know they put a fix in earlier to help with crashing, but I think it required to make sure your drivers were updated and use directx at launch instead of vulcan.
