Congrats to Myles for moving into 5th place all time for career sacks for the Browns at 35.5. he’s now 2 behind Carl Hairston for 4th all time and 5 behind Rob Burnett for 3rd all time.

also congrats to Myles for moving into a tie for 4th place all time for career forced fumbles for the Browns with 9 tying Anthony Pleasant. He is now 1 behind Michael Dean Perry for 3rd place

looking forward to watching him continue to rise these ranks On his way to rewriting the Browns record book!

Myles is also 1 behind Michael Dean Perry for McDonald's burgers named after him....that needs to change.

Garrett is playing great - no surprise there - but something being overlooked is that his offsides penalties feel much more under control through 4 games this year compared to last year's start. Defensive MVP is a very real possibility if he can keep that helmet holstered.

Comeback player of the year is a possibility too.

Most likely will go to jerrick mckinnon, assuming he continues to look good in that offense, and doesnt lose the role simply becase mostert was hurt.

No way they give comeback player of the year to someone who had to comeback from a suspension for hitting another player in the head with a helmet. It is such a bad look.....injury or other health reasons. Like anyone that had cancer and is now looking good playing?

Exactly.

That's like the exact opposite of what the award is supposed to be for.

Garrett isn't getting it just like Kareem Hunt isn't getting it. Neither is Antonio Brown, Ray Rice, etc.

I'm here for Browns fans lobbying for Myles and Kareem as comeback player of the year on Twitter. I know our fans are going to start a campaign for them. We got Peyton Hillis on the cover of Madden so I won't underestimate the reach of our fanbase.

Has a guy coming back from a suspension ever won it? I thought it usually goes to a guy coming back from an injury/illness.

Michael Vick in 2010, looks like some others, so its possible, but still think no way they give it to Myles.

On the Peyton Hillis topic, @Los216 ... well, the fact that he was a white running back had a lot to do with it.

That is a shitty thing to say about your fellow fans without a shred of evidence.

Hillis became hugely popular here when he had a fantastic game against the hated Ravens who went 12-4 that year, and had a stifling run defense. He then had even better one against Belichek's Patriots, who were 6-1 at the time and went on to a 14-2 record. HIllis had over 200 yards from scrimmage, we won by 20, and that was a huge story everywhere. Not because he was white, but because the lowly Browns had just taken down the mighty Pats by riding on the back of a 7th round fullback. He was the perfect underdog story for a long-downtrodden franchise,

He was the first Brown to win an offensive player of the week award since 1992, He was 6th in the league in total yards from scrimmage despite not even being the starter until the third game. Browns fans flooded the voting because of his performance, and that would have been true regardless of the color of his skin. Fuck, do fans care that Chubb is black, or that Wyatt Teller is white? We love those guys because of how they play.
