Week 5: Colts @ Browns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Looking over some stats from our games and their games, I don’t expect a win. That Dallas defense was terrible and their defense is really legit. Like even the game they lost they doubled up the Jags in yards.

I am hoping for the best, but you can’t expect long drives against them and they will play to not turn it over. If we win this game, we are basically contenders. I don’t think we are there yet.

23-16 bad guys. Lots of field goals and fans bitching afterward about how so-and-so sucks.

If you dont like the good guys then you cangitaout

Damn, that's really useful information there, though I kind of hate buzzwords like "11 personnel" and "12 personnel." Feels a bit like a private club where if you don't know the secret passwords, you don't get to hear what's going on. I wish they'd just say "one tight end" or "two tight ends".

But anyway, the point that the Colts defense is much better against teams that use one TE and 3 WRs than they are against teams that use 2 TE's and 2 WR's seems pretty big to me. According to this guy's stats -- which I assume are accurate -- the Colts defense has performed significantly worse against teams running two tight ends rather than just one. Because the Browns are a run heavy team that runs the second highest percentage of 2 TE sets in the league, we're a really bad matchup for the Colts defense.

Very good, useful stuff to know.

Agree.

I feel like it’s come along with advanced stats and/or makes some lover level “scouts” feel like they’re part of the game. For some guys, it’s a nice opportunity to call other intelligent people idiots too. Though that decreased in most sections a couple months ago thankfully.

But yes, it’s just as easy to say “one tight end sets” or “two tight end sets” and it saves most people an extra 1-2 google searches.

Anyone else nervous about Hilliard getting more touches?

Ogunjobi and Karl Joseph are among inactive. Ronnie Harrison, Jordan Elliot, and Money Mitchell to get starts this afternoon. Yes, Greedy is inactive again.

Feels like this one could come down to turnovers.

The Colts don't have a particularly explosive offense, but they do have a very talented defense.

Don't expect a lot of scoring, but you never know.

Well, one play into the game, this may serve to be prescient.

Sportsurge doesn’t have it? The fuck
