Wonder if a team like Miami might make a surprise move for Frankie?
Went to HS in Florida, they're a playoff team with no star players and have more than enough prospect capital to put together a very enticing package. Obviously don't know if they have the financial means to even have a shot at keeping him.
Just thinking out loud....
nine of the top eleven prospects for the Marlins reached and contributed to the Marlins 2020 season at the highest level.. the two that didn't.. imho... would be the starting point for a deal with the Marlins.. It would not surprise me if the Marlins were involved with a three team deal that saw Francisco Lindor leave.. IDK if the Marlins would end up with Lindor, but it's possible.I am beginning to consider them a darkhorse candidate as well for the reasons you mentioned. I wonder if they would be willing to part with a package of Jazz Chisholm, Monte Harrison and a lower-level prospect.

Not sure if Jazz Chisholm would be available but an Arias-Chisholm middle infield would be an absolute electric factory for the Tribe.
Shoot, the Marlins have a deep prospect pipeline. Close your eyes and throw a dart and you'll likely hit a guy the Indians would have interest in-- Jazz Chisholm, Sixto Sanchez, Max Meyer, JJ Bleday, Jesus Sanchez, Edward Cabrera, Lewin Diaz, Trevor Rogers, Monte Harrison, Braxton Garrett, Nick Niedert, Connor Scott, Peyton Berdick....
They have legit prospect depth at all three levels-- MLB, Upper Minors and Lower Minors.

I thought the Marlins idea was very appealing.I like the Angel's trade the best, in our minors from what you guys are saying, SS is our strongest position, not sure we need a SS back, we need good hitting outfielders who can also defend.

Its hard to say what Bauers and Bradley will do since we really didn't get to see them this season. With Naylor in the mix as well, we have 3 LH bats that play 1B and Bauers and Naylor who also play LF. With Santana likely off the books, and a low probability of being back (im not ruling against it since he really likes it in Cleveland), someone has to step it up.
Bradley has a ton of pop, put him behind Reyes in theory, makes a scary 4-5 in the sense of power. But has Bradley fix his SO issues, patience and the hole in his swing? Bauers supposedly has been retooling his swing and his attitude this season. He is still young (just turned 25) but this will kind of be his last chance in 21 with the tribe. Naylor i think has a future, a slash of .260-.270/.330-.340/.400-.420 isn't going to be unreasonable for him. Of anything I think that's more gonna be his floor.
Bauers has all the hit tools but i think so far in his pro career he's had a bad work ethic and hasn't put in the work to get better. It remains to be seen whether he can mature and get more consistent.
