2019 Draft, Pick #30 - Kevin Porter Jr., USC

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What's everyone's expectation for year 2.

It's going to be interesting to see him playing at the 1 since Bickerstaff is planning to put him there in some situations.

36 minutes a game divided between the 1, 2, and 3. Not evenly divided, but divided.

I also expect more 3-point shots. Nice to see him working on that. Between KPJ, Garland, Sexton, Love, Windler and Nance we should see a whole lot of 3's.

I like the way he goes into his 3-point footwork without picking up the ball. If the defender follows him when he steps back KPJ can blow by him.

If,Garland,Sexton,Porter and Love improve their three-point shooting I think this team can win a 30-35 games.

I think will take Porter a little while to get used to playing at the 1.

I'm predicting 19/5/6

He's going to be the second leading scorer behind Sexton.

per 36, his numbers last year were

15 pts 3.6 ast and 5 reb

He might get that many minutes this year, but I am not sure. He only played 23 last year. With a deeper team I think him getting 36 min is pretty optimistic.

HE maintained his efficiency or beat it playing bigger minutes, so I would say per 36

17 4.5 and 4. I think his rebounding drops through no fault of his own adding Drummond and Windler.

If he can do that and get his turnovers down, that would be great

KPJ has some troubling stuff on social media. Concerning depression

Good thing he has access to world class medical care and has a teammate that is the spokesperson for battling depression in public.

I have no doubt that the team has already addressed anything he's posted on social media.

I will be breaking 1000 KPJ cards next week. This kid is going to be unreal.

I love how KPJ is now shooting the ball a bit higher. Can make all the difference in the world in terms of getting a shot off while someone is in your face & I am pleased he recognized he was shooting it a bit too low.
