I feel a little like I am taking crazy pills here. This is Jaylen Brown in high school.......the biger, longer, probably heavier guy that people think Okoro is bigger than?

Dude was a brick house at 17/18.

Brown was imposing physically at Cal as well.

I think it is an ok shooting comparison but the huge gulf in their skillset is scoring & FT generation.

Per 100:

Okoro - 8.6 FTA, 23.2 PTS
Brown - 13.5 FTA, 31.1 PTS

Brown took more shots but man, those are really large gaps....if you are trying to make the argument that his best case is a Jaylen Brown path.

That is the big concern for me with Okoro......is will he be offensively skilled enough at the NBA to not be a big liability on that end?
DING DING DING! We have a winner! Is he going to be another player that stands out on the perimeter while his man clogs the middle because he doesn’t scare him with his jump shot?

Improvement indicates improvement. Now talk about usage and how productive he was per touch.

He's not a #1 option Kevin Porter type of guy. You give him minutes and he can develop his offensive game. His around the basket game is advanced and he will likely be the guy that comes in to stop the bleeding in certain matchups for Collin and Darius.

Okoro’s explosiveness is a conundrum. He’ll look earthbound at times then fly like the L-Train on some drives/dunks.

He is literally moving at half speed. Same as KPJ. He's an nba athlete playing against college kids finishing 70% at the rim

Glamour muscles. Show me a thigh comparison or GTFO.

Indeed, Jaylen Brown is a twig:

You got me there.

Okoro still has more girth though.

In all seriousness though, he really does seem to have an exceptionally strong core and legs, and that's really what you want.

Pick your comp!

Jimmy Butler (pre-Rose injury)
Andre Iguodola
Ronnie Brewer
Luol Deng

How have we gotten to the point where we are arguing about Jaylen Brown's thighs?
