Andre Drummond has had a PER over 20.9 every year of his 9 year career thus far. You know how many times Myles Turner has had a PER over 20.9 in his 5 year career? ZERO. The closest he’s gotten is 18.5, which was in his 2nd season, and this past year he was at 14.8.This is what I want so much, but I'm afraid Boston values Turner higher than Drummond (they should). Boston is the last place I want Myles to end up in.
Who do you think is the better player? Turner is 3 years younger, so I guess that’s worth something. I’d consider trading for Turner only if Drummond prices himself outside of what we deem to be reasonable.
We can argue all day long about stats and the diminishing impact of big men on the NBA game. Someone apparently forgot to tell the Warriors & Hawks, who took James Wiseman & Onyeka Okongwu in the top 6 of the draft.
