2020 Offseason

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'll bet the Hornets win significantly more games over the next 10 years than we do (and I don't think the Hornets will even be .500)

Does winning more games but still being a shit show make a real difference? I don't think it does just makes the draft less exciting if your stuck at the end of lotto instead of top 5.

Hornets gave Hayward 4/120. Really glad we aren't the Hornets right now.

You would think they would have learned from that terrible Batum contract. Also in another bad move they might stretch Batum's last year. They should really try to figure out a sign and trade with Boston and a 3rd team to get rid of Batum.

I was just responding to you saying you're glad we aren't the Hornets. I'd rather be the Hornets.

I wouldn't. I prefer our long term pieces more then Hornets.
I'll be surprised if anyone on our current roster is still on the team the next time we finish over .500

Could say the same about Hornets.
Agreed. Except they’re likely going to put a better team on the floor.

The Cavs are literally in the worst situation of any team in the NBA, in my opinion. I’d trade spots with literally anybody :chuckle:

I dunno. The Pistons are trying to build an elite 2010 NBA team right now with a million centers. The Knicks exist.

Hornets do have LaMelo but I'd rather have Colin and Okoro than anyone else on their roster. I'd argue Love is a better use of the overpaid vet position than Hayward since he doesn't take the ball away from your young guards and doesn't demand to be the first option when he is washed up.

I would also rather be us than teams like Orlando or Indy who are going to cap out as a first round exit. We have some actual long-term upside and an put out an interesting offense.

Not to mention, we don't have a cheap shitty owner like Tilman or Sarver. The Rockets are actively a dead franchise til that fool goes bankrupt

You’d rather be us than the Pacers!?

We clearly have different priorities.

I'm just a little annoyed we seemingly aren't taking any flyers on some reclamation projects like Dunn,Jackson, or even Portis. I don't feel like we hav enough young talent yet where we can be comfortable not taking chances on players like those.

I like Sabaonis and Warren but that team is not contending for a title and really doesn't have the resources to get to contention. I would rather rebuild with some exciting young players to contend for a title then be stuck with as a first round exit for a decade.

I wonder if they want to bring back TT and are waiting for these other teams to blow their wad so they have no competition for him.

IDGAF about contention. Just want a fun team and get to the playoffs. Can't even think contention until we have a top 15 player, so not worth worrying about.

I had fun once Bickerstaff took over, so I'm good. Don't need Hayward to enjoy being a cavs fan
