Can we just say, the route he ran for the TD was literally incredible? I’m trying to think of another route similar that a Browns player has ran in recent years that resulted in a bomb.
He's due fore a game breaking Punt Return. may not be for a TD but I could see a late game scenario where we need to put a team away with field position.
I'd argue yesterday was the best he looked in the return game. It's amazing that simply his ability to catch the punt makes him better than half the options we've had back there the last few years.
I think his draft position was more related to his not so good college QB, than to his peculiar talent.. He was not used well at TTUN. He is long and fast once in stride. Makes difficult catches, and is not ( yet) a prima donna..DPJ already looks like a guarantee to get a second contract. To say that about a 6th round receiver in his rookie season is incredible.
Credit to Berry & the Front Office for drafting him, the coaching staff for developing him and certainly DPJ himself for being prepared and staying ready for his number to be called. Beyond just his natural talent, you can just tell he's dedicated to maximizing his potential.
Loved the touchdown... but can someone explain to me what's going on with DPJ's touchdown dance?
Looked like me dancing out there.

LOL. DPJ should leave touchdown dances to... everyone else on the team
He was trying to do one of the moves from this.
We got Nick Chubb for thatI'm still a fan of guys who do nothing but hand the ball to the ref like scoring a TD is no different than taking a crap.
