2021 Minor League Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I suspect the team at Lake County will have an impressive grouping of talent.

Beyond Valera, there will likely be Aaron Bracho/ Brayan Rocchio/ Bo Naylor & a few others among the position player prospects. It will be interesting to watch & see if Will Benson is able to rebuild his prospect value or if the Tribe pushes him to the AA Akron.

The pitching staff should be loaded with Daniel Espino/ Ethan Hankins/ Carlos Vargas/ Hunter Gaddis among the arms assembled for the staff..

Getting out to see a game at Lake County to see all the talent (if fans are allowed) should be on everyone's list for this upcoming season...

For those interested, Baseball America dropped its Tribe top 10 prospects podcast today (12/22/20)...
Teddy Cahill & Kyle Glaser reviewing the top 10 & the rest of the Tribe farm system..
It runs just over 45 minutes.
It is a free podcast & is available via Apple or whichever method you use to get a podcast. I would encourage everyone to give it a listen

--------------------------------------------------------------------
After giving a listen I can confirm that the top 12 are:
1) Triston McKenzie
2) Nolan Jones
3) Tyler Freeman
4) George Valera
5) Bo Naylor
6) Gabriel Arias
7) Brayan Rocchio
8) Daniel Espino
9) Ethan Hankins
10) Aaron Bracho
11) Gabriel Rodriguez
12) Carson Tucker

It was suggested the group between #4 & #10 is interchangeable....
It was also noted that TMac/ Jones & Freeman are among the top 100 prospects in baseball..

Edit (12/29/20): Thanks to another poster I have learned the order of of the BA list #4 thru #10... I have updated the post above to reflect the info..

So when we going? Since the Browns and Cavs have fans, I think the Indians will be able to get some as well. It will be in the 10-20% range, but honestly I am okay with that. I love baseball but not crowds lol

I seriously am looking forward to see how our A ball team plays since that roster will have a ton of talent. Not sure how the minor league shake up will effect who is on what team though in the end.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Naylor and Valera in Double-A Akron to start the year.

Will be interesting to see how far they're willing to push guys coming off the full year at the alt training site.

Can't imagine they'll repeat their existing level, think the pendulum swings in the opposite direction for the guys they like most.

Forgotten man... Richie Palacios... Does he start in High A or AA? IMO he pus himself right back in the infielder mix as soon as next season.

Thanks for posting that AZ. He looks great! I hope his hard work pays off and he surprises us all.

Reyes and Bradley hitting bombs back to back in the lineup would be pretty dang awesome.
