The Mandalorian

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Wow, I can hardly wait...my son will be coming home around 7 and then the whole family will (potentially) rejoice in the Mando!

Roped our two boys in.

In past Mando episodes, they watch for Grogu and the fight scenes but get distracted during dialogue.

Tonight? Glued, popping off the sofa during the kill shots, cuddling up when they saw the new Empire troopers... and of course that ending was perfect.

My youngest is still shadowboxing in his room 20 minutes later, saying "I'm the Mandalorian."

I miss being young and being able to do that...

Without judgement

Where do they go for season 3? So many possibilities.

Why the exciting beginnings of the First Order and Snoke, of course!

And the enduring mystery of why no one in the Republic cares about a huge enemy military build-up, and also the start of Han Solo's descent into poverty and hopelessness!

And the backstory of how that big fat guy became the scrap-peddler king of Jakku!

Only one portion!!! Lens flares! Great JJ stuff!

Can you imagine?

Stop being such a buzzkill I just rewatched the end like 10 times and feel I might as well just as rewatch the entire original trilogy tonight.

I'm kidding!

It is in itself satire of what Kathleen Kennedy and that hack JJ did to the franchise.

Thank the Force that Favreau and the long-suffering Filoni have saved the franchise.

There is hope!

I've never seen the show but if you dont see Sasha Banks toes in it, it is really worth?

Last thought - I was wondering when they were going to let Giancarlo Esposito really uncork as Moff Gideon... and in the last episode they let him dig in. Another great scene from Gus Fring.

He struck me as too much of a giant dork for the role until that last monologue, then he won me over. I like him better as Thrawn's Pawn.

Personally, I'm disappointed in how easily Luke took out midichlorian-infused, beskar-sculpted Dark Troopers. Really made them look wussy instead of some new existential threat. Especially since they still couldnt aim, flat out kept missing Luke with their blaster shots. The shot comparison to Vader mowing through troopers from Rogue One is pretty neat, showing how much Luke is like his dad... Oh wait I don't think that was their goal.

I think that it was their goal but as others have pointed out in reverse.
RO scene reveals Vader in smoke and then he lays waste. This flips the script Luke lays waste and then the reveal in smoke he turns off his lighsaber. He's the "new hope".

Plus he's a Jedi Knight now it's time he kicks ass

I don't think they were designed with Jedi in mind. There are only a handful of Force users left by that time. Traditionally, droids have not fared well against Force users.

Are they midichlorian infused? They are not biological, Gideon had bodies in those tanks. Pershing is a cloner. He is trying to infuse Ms into a living being. Could be part of a bigger plan tying into other aspects later on. Season 7 of CW dealt with some weird experimentation on Clones. Snoke was cloned.
