I don't want to wish injury but if Kevin had to sit out for about 3-4 weeks, I wouldn't exactly be upset or even mildly bothered whatsoever.

He's already scheduled for an MRI per JBB.

Sucks for Kevin and I know he means well.

But this situation is a mess. We can't trade him, he can't get on the court, and when he can, he's not even good anymore.

This is ridiculous with him. The dude hasn’t played since March and is freakin hurt again.

What does that have to do with him being lazy on defense. He's been on that crap since last season.

It's obvious he doesn't want to be here yet he wants his money.

The not wanting to be here thing is he should be reassessing, don't want to jump the gun but it looks as if something fun is building here, Sexton and Garland taking steps, decent depth, jumped to the stage where they want to compete again. Love at even 90% of what he was could be a big part of that.

Dumb to play on a back to back after just coming back from injury and looking out of condition anyway.

The problem with Love is he still sees himself as a star. He thinks he deserves touches over Colin and Darius. Pouts openly by not getting back on defense or when not getting the ball...and even though he may be right at times, that’s not where we are as a franchise. This franchise now runs through Colin and Darius, good and bad.

We need him to accept and support that transition. We need him to be a rebounding Channing Frye. Box out, set picks, hit threes, and be a positive influence on the development of the
players on the team, including Drummond (who I’m afraid has a lot of the same above tendencies).

if he can do that, we can easily ride out his contract, honor him, and let him walk off into the sunset. If he chooses the alternative...where he thinks he is too good to even try and evolve, then, we have to move on from him somehow at some point...whether that’s attaching 2nds to him, or simply sending him home “injured”.

I have no problem with him wanting touches even though you're right what you said about the offense going through Sexton and Garland. The issue I have with him is that he's lazy on defense.

I understand, he was never a good defender but he could atleast show some interest in it. He pretends,he's playing defense and his man get wide open..Then,wants to look at the young guys for fucking up.

I can't believe we are stuck with this guy. It hurts me. HE is not even a positive vet presence.

You know who's a positive vet presence? Javale McGee. He just got here and you can see how much the teammates love him. So we don't need that vet presence. We also have Nance.

Kevin Love's contract is the reason why we can't absorb bad contracts for picks and not worry about us being bad to enjoy a good draft pick. Yes, we could have gotten on some of the deals in the summer. Now, I don't think we will ever be able to unload him, not without giving away a draft pick or something. That is really bad. We need that fucking cap space to absorb bad deals for draft picks. That is all. We were set for this, but OKC/NO had a cleaner slate to work with.

The problem is we aren’t hearing any of these concerns or complaints from the FO or teammates! If he wasn’t doing the job that the coach was asking of him I believe Bickerstaff would bench or pull him from the starting line up! So as of right now it’s clear the team and head coach sees something in Love on the floor we don’t
