The decision to call timeout with 37 seconds left in the first half rather than let more time run off the clock was perplexing.

But for the most part it was a well coached game.
There was certainly a drop-off from Stefanski to Priefer. Besides the two you guys mentioned, there was also the timeout in the first half to prevent a delay of game when we were punting anyways.

That being said, at least Priefer still outcoached trash-ass Tomlin!

If I saw that dude in the halls, I'd get out of his way and apologize every time. "Oh I'm sorry, were you planning on punting?"

A lot of owners will be asking why they never gave this guy an interview... feels damn good

A lot of Browns fans are gonna feel real stupid for complaining about the hire and fear of analytics.

Most who were against the Stefanski hire wanted Mike McCarthy :lgh (20):
I wanted McCarthy, not even going to lie. There is a reason my avatar is Frozen...I apparently don't know shit about football.

Go Browns!

You and I have talked about this, but I think a big reason for that is just how bad PFF is for the image of analytics. For a company that is as arrogant as they are about what they do, PFF really doesn’t do analytics anywhere near the level of NFL teams.

PFF has definitely improved this year, but the Browns brought in a bunch of smart, football guys that were willing to listen to stats in order to improve efficiency. I just hope these things coalesce so we can stop this stupid “analytics vs football” debate.

I think the most impressive part of Stefanski's season is how prepared this team is and how level they stay. One game at a time. Plus the fact that no matter what covid or the NFL throw at us, we've got a plan for it. How a team can lose so many critical components, be almost totally unable to physically meet or practice from preseason to playoffs, and never skip a beat, in fact improving even through the mounting obstacles in front of them. Its just so impressive. Coach of the Year and it shouldn't be close. Franchise coach and qb should have us sitting pretty for a decade.

That wasn't a coaching win last night for Stefanski but you bet your ass that was a HUGE culture win.

Incredibly impressive for this team to stay composed against all odds this week. We had every excuse to see some bad penalties, to see some confusion getting calls in and yet, we played a damn near flawless game.

Give this guy the coach of the year award already.
