Andre Drummond - LeBron's Robin

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Yes...but that doesn't mean we actually have to trade him. He would be a perfect backup for Allen.

I agree, but if we can get something for value for him, we need to get that. We are not in championship mode and McGee is an expiring. If we want him back next year that bad, just use one the exceptions, he is only making 5 mil and I don't think his value goes up.

could you get Trent Jr or Simon from Portland? I know Trent Jr declined an extension from Portland.

He would be a nice piece, still young, he is a 6'5 wing, good defender, true 3 and d guy. Horrible rebounder for some reason, I feel we have 3 players on our roster that match what he does though, Okoro, Windler and KPJ....even Dotson to some degree. I think Dotson's shooting goes up once he isn't playing out of position. I get the biggest ability of Trent Jr over most of our wing roster is availability and shooting, but I don't want to give up to much for Trent Jr but we could pursue him if we like him with our MLE if he becomes available.

I don't know about championship mode, but I know we're no longer in dump productive vets for whatever we can get mode. Or we shouldn't be. I would try to sign him for a couple more years.

Also, if they trade him, I don't think they can sign him as a free agent.

You can if he expires, but not if he is bought out I believe.

With Allen onboard I don’t see both Javale and Drummond on the roster after the deadline!

I think he can come back as long as he isnt bought out.

They Ought to roll with it for a bit and maybe get some guys some rest or have a 3 center rotation. We have seen how fast the games have been coming and it has surely contributed to the injuries.

33 and 23.

That's pretty hard to do.

Drummond has some warts (some of those rebounds were his own misses) but overall he played a very good game tonight.

Interesting situation we have at center.

I think he may have more trade value than a lot of people think. Don't think many have posted those kind of numbers. Allen and Sexton are due big raises next year, and it unlikely we can pay Drummond. I hope they can find a way to keep him.

Big game for Drummond tonight, impressive for sure. Showcasing his skills. He probably was a little extra motivated since his potential replacement is on the team now. Can Allen be as good or better with equal NBA experience, idk? For me the thing with Drummond is that he's a ball hog and his 2's won't keep up with all the other teams who drain 3's. But he does other things real well, when he's got it going. I'm conflicted. Also not sure him and Sexton are on the same page.
We do have other bigs in Allen, McGee, Bolden also Love and Nance.
It'll work out, what a problem to have. Go Cavs.
