2020 NFL Regular Season Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Jets probably have the most to offer for Watson. I think they have 5 or 6 firsts in the next few years, including the 2 this year obviously.

The Jets are so far away from having a competitive team though.

Not that they won't make the move, but they trade a bunch of 1sts and then spend the next 2-3 years trying to figure out how to put a roster together around Watson that can do better than 7-9.

Miami can actually trade their picks (and they have their own this year + Houston's) and be good right away.

Man I get this, but how fucking sweet would it be to end his career on THAT game
Thats probably part of the reason he wants to come back.

Even an 8-8 season and missing the playoffs is a better finale to your career than that shit fest performance a couple weeks ago.

Stay. Ruin the Steelers cap for another season.

Yes, stay.

This would be a great year for him to retire from Pittsburgh's perspective because it is not very often that more than one really good QB, or a young prospect, is available via trade.

I would not want Watson or Stafford going to the Steelers. Or even Jimmy G arriving if the 49ers cut him.

Ben staying means the Steelers are in a state of arrested development offensively and that is exactly where the Browns want them. A washed Ben and declining Conner and JuJu, paired with a defense that lost a couple big playmakers, is a recipe for great fun for the Browns.

JuJu is almost certainly gone.

If Roethlisberger comes back at what he's currently set to make, Pittsburgh is going to be way over the cap.

JuJu is gone, Dupree is gone, and Haden will either be cut or restructured, at a minimum. I think it's more likely that if Roethlisberger comes back, they re-work his deal.

Jimmy G does not scare me. I’d be more afraid of Darnold going there if the new coach wants to start fresh.

Frisman Jackson...now that's a name I haven't heard in a long, long time.
