Someone make a "Return of the Cedi" photoshop for me

Cedi looking like a man on a mission! If only he could do this 4/5 games, not 1/5. The small difference between a stud and a scrub..

I'm impressed with his passing; he's averaging 5.0 assists per game in January. But his shooting is at 36.4% and 30.8% on 3's. He just can't be a starter missing that many shots considering he doesn't rebound much and his defense is suspect. Now that Prince is here and Windler due back soon I don't know where he fits in.

In 13 games he's had games of 1-for-12, 2-for-12, and 1-for 8 from the field. Some games he just kills the offense. But his last two games he's 17-for-35.

I'm not sure if Prince is a 3 or a 4 and whether JBB plans to put him in the rotation. At 6'7" I assume he's more of a small forward, which means in a couple of weeks we could have Okoro, Cedi, Prince and Windler at the 3. Even if they have Prince take over Wade's minutes at the 4 until Love returns that still leaves three guys at small forward.

Apparently Porter is back practicing with the team which suggests he could be playing soon. We'll have a huge logjam of players, many of which won't be getting the minutes they feel they deserve and need. Heck, Lamar Stevens is making an argument for more playing time.

Ideally we should probably trade either Cedi or Prince and McGee for a draft pick or a young developmental center to replace Drummond.

Like Jarrett Allen?

I'm assuming McGee and Drummond will either be traded this season or leave in free agency after the season. In that case we would need a backup to Allen. We have a logjam at small forward and a looming shortage at center. I don't think Cedi has much value since he doesn't shoot, defend or rebound very well but I was hoping to package him with McGee or a young project center. That might only be realistic if we can find a contender with a dire need for an experienced backup center.

Right now having options is a good thing.

In the long run, Cedi might end up being moved for a bigger need.

If so it probably means Okoro and Windler really developed which ultimately will be better for our team.

In the past, Cedi has been a more effective 2 than 3.. He also spent a lot of energy covering other players defensive lapses.. I wonder if his flashes of improvement this year are related to better team defense and or playing more 2..

Kind like McGee backing up Allen next year. Think he would be a good Influence

Came here to say this. Seems much better guarding guards than forwards. I think the team is saying push in transition, otherwise dont dribble and pass the ball and shoot.

Man he forced that Harden travel and got a foul.

HE plays good when he is confident and guys don't attack his dribble

Cedi is playing pretty good the last games, a bit more recognition please.:D
yes he has but he is wildly inconsistent so its hard to get super excited by it
