Game Thread 2020-21 Season | Game #15 | Brooklyn @ Cleveland | January 22, 2021

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Sexton just told all the doubters to suck a fat wang again.

I want Brooklyn in the playoffs. The Cavs would grind them to dust

This is a star driven league but its still a team game, maybe after these losses Kyrie will realise this but I wouldnt count on it

Another win through sheer hard work on both ends.
I absolutely can't believe we got Allen and Prince for close to nothing. What a great deal.

I'd absolutely hate to see him on this team, pounding the ball for 15 seconda before going iso, then pointing at his teammates as if it is their fault when he doesn't want to put in the effort on the defensive end.

Destroy everything about likeable about this team.
Appreciate the championship but would no part of lbj again

With Durant out the Cavs honestly should have no problem beating the Nets, and they took care of business.

Fantastic job not fouling. Only 10 FTs combined for Harden/Irving.

I'm surprised Harden took only 14 shots in each of the two games, especially since he played 51 minutes Weds and Durant was out last night. Maybe he's transitioning to more of a facilitator now that he's playing with two elite scorers. He had 23 assists in the two games.

Irving has had three knee surgeries and a shoulder surgery. He seems to be tranisitioning into more of a jump shooter than a guy who used to weave his way to the rim and put a spinning layup high off the glass before getting slammed to the floor. He shot nine 3's last night.

Steve Nash is not sparing his players' feelings. After the first game against the Cavs he talked about "breakdowns all over the place" and after last night's game he said, "Just showing up at the gym is not good enough. We're playing people that I think are excited to play and compete against our team and are going to bring it every night and we have to match that. That would be my main overiding thought on these two games."

So....poor execution and lack of competitiveness. Wow. He's calling them out. No "We're going to be fine."

He's right - they're not going to be fine as things stand now because that roster is too flawed. They better hope some size and defense is available in buy outs, or they have zero chance at the title.

Six guys in double-figures last night, all of them big guys (Drummond, Allen, Nance, Prince) or little guys (Sexton, Garland).

Not much production out of our wings (Cedi, Okoro, Dotson, Windler). Cedi had a bad shooting night; the rest didn’t shoot much.

I wonder if we plan to involve our wings more, going forward.

For a moment there I thought you were referring to his game and I was about blow a gasket

Nope.. mainly his profile. They look really similar.

Oh, and best ability is availability. Where is your boy JJJ now? so...yeah.

No "We're going to be fine."

Huh. He keeps talking like that, how long before Kyrie or Harden start to undermine him to get him fired?

Coaching 3 super stars may not be as easy as you think Mr. Nash...

Highlights of this game on ESPN.com are all Brooklyn offensive plays in the second half. ESPN is absolutely pathetic.
I also just checked to see where Sexton was on the top scorers list on ESPN, and they don't even have him listed! He should be tied for 10th in the league with Doncic. At first I thought it was because # of games played, but they have both Beal and Tatum in the top 10 despite playing the same number of games (10) as Sexton. Just a terrible site.
