2021 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Chazz Surratt came in a bit undersized at just 6’1 1/2 and 227, with some relatively short arms.

30’’ arms as well.

That’s likely going to ding him. Still think he’s a tremendous player and a special teams demon at worst.

The 1st percentile in arm length.

Just incredibly bad for Chazz.

I also forgot he's like 25 years old or something like that. So there is probably a less than 1% chance the Browns take him.

As a UCF grad/fan, I can tell you Aaron Robinson had a horrific senior season. It was so bad that I did a double take when Kiper had him in the first round still.

I'm not sure if he was injured or what, but he played the entire 2020 season like he was trying to NOT get hurt. Really weak/disinterested effort most of the season.

He was tremendous in 2019 though. Best player on that defense that year IMO.

He played almost exclusively nickel/slot corner at UCF. Very few snaps on the outside.

This is probably nit-picky and maybe not a concern, but watching some of his film, it seems like when tackling, guys drag him for a few yards before going down. Looking at someone like Zaven Collins or even a smaller stature LB like Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, guys pretty much get stopped when contact is made.

Very aggressive, but it looks like he might go extinct before our pick anyway....

So Non-P5 Shaun Wade? Great nickel/slot guy who was exposed on the outside due to his own timidness. Both should've went last year.

D’Ante Smith from ECU is a name to watch for the Browns in the middle rounds.

Blowing up at the Sr. Bowl. Plus plus metrics and length, great athleticism.

Appears to be a great fit for the ZBS.
Height appears to be an issue?

For those thinking about a replacement for Malcolm Smith at OLB, Tony Fields is a bit undersized but can definitely play the coverage LB role.

Looking forward to seeing what metrics he can put up, but in a division with Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow and an AFC that has to go through Pat Mahomes for the next decade, having speed and athleticism at the LB position is crucial.

Phillips looks like he can fly around out there, this is another guy to watch.

Robinson played slot/nickel both years. He just oddly seemed to just not play very hard in 2020 after having a great 2019.
