Free MLB.TV for t-mobile subscribers.

If you are a T-Mobile subscriber and baseball fan, it’s your lucky day. T-Mobile announced that starting March 30th, subscribers will be eligible to receive a free annual subscription to MLB.TV ($129.99 value). This is the sixth straight year that T-Mobile has offered this deal and it looks like it will continue into the foreseeable future. In 2019, the company extended their deal with MLB to be the “Official Wireless Sponsor of MLB” for four more years

MLB.TV includes out-of-market access to almost every game (excluding ESPN, FOX, and MLB Network telecasts). This is ideal for fans who live away from your favorite team or want to catch teams or players out of your local area.

To redeem the offer, subscribers will be able to access an exclusive link from the T-Mobile Tuesday appstarting on March 30th. If you are not currently a T-Mobile subscriber and still want in on this deal, make sure you subscribe before April 6th.
It has been a great perk....last year they added a "The Athletic" subscription, too!

They do this every year and it’s fantastic. They’ve gotten me that and The Athletic subscription for free.

Sounds like a great way to follow the Cleveland Baseball Team diaspora. Mets games for Lindor, Yankees games for Kluber, Astros games for Brantley, etc.

As a Sprint customer I cannot tell you how excited I was about the T-Mobile/Sprint merger when I found out about this deal last year lol

Corey Kluber has come into NYY's camp with a fully clear bill of health.. that won't remain.. but it's nice to see he's starting his 2021 season from a good place.. Four of the top seven NYY starting pitchers enter the 2021 season with "health concerns"..

It's generally regarded by fans as "normal" to see a team manipulate a prospects service time.. After the comments about Kelenic and Rodriguez (the top two OF prospects with the Mariners) not having a chance for a promotion during the 2020 season ...even if COVID-19 plagued the team.. has been criticized roundly by everyone that has an opinion..

MLB cannot lose the argument about service time.. The new CBA may reflect an entirely different means of determining a club's control over their draftee and signee's..

Example: College Level Draftee: from the season starting after the draft ( drafted July of 2021, clock starts ticking in 2022.. Add 4 years,, In 2026, the college draftee must be rosters or exposed or subjected to Rule V..

High School Level Draftees could have two years added..

International signings could have an addition two years..

Something has to be done to satisfy the union over the service time manipulation game. Chris Bryant's lawsuit was a "shot over the bow" defining where the players are going with this..

thoughts?

I am very interested to see how Kluber does @Gson. I've talked with a couple pitchers about him and the consensus is he will not return to prior form. They think age, injures and innings have accumulated to the point of diminished return. But none seem quite sure what that level of diminished return will be.

Matt Blake, one of Cressey's top guys before moving to a staff position with the Indians and then on to the Yankees, definitely has familiarity with Klub's. Through his time with Cressey's org (where Kluber has trained forever) and then with the Indians. And the Yankees sure seemed in a hurry to sign him, so we will see if they know something or not.

He and Cole make an interesting pairing. Two guys that say almost nothing. The young one with all the expectations and the old one with all the accolades. Wonder if never a word shall pass between or if a mentor relationship is more the model.

Yeah.. it will be interesting to see if he can reinvent himself as a true cutter/slider/curve/change up/ show me fastball kind of pitcher... The repertoire is there.. the knowledge is extensive.. the instincts work well.. separation on his pitches will be the key.. Like you..wishing him well so long as his interests don't conflict with the Indians' interests will be the watchwords....

Anyone that thinks Kluber will regain the form he had in his prime as an Indian will almost certainly be disappointed. That doesn't mean he can't log some quality innings and help the Yankees' rotation. Like you said Jup, at what level he can get to is to be seen.

Would I be speaking incorrectly by assuming that Kluber is a good teammate and will help in anyway he can, but is not outspoken? If you want information from him then you'll have to ask for it is how he strikes me. More of a lead by example type?
