We’re just so small and the small forwards we play that have good size can’t score for some stupid reason.
 
Two made 3P’s in the same half for Okoro. Feels notable
 
Interesting that with ankle issues JBB play Sexton the whole quarter.
 
Injuries were the problem

KPJ was the problem.

Not having a backup PG was the problem.

Drummond was the problem.

ME THINKS THE PROBLEM IS BIGGER.

We are small but it’s magnified with Prince and Nance both out.
 
Jamal Murray did this to a great defense in Utah during the playoffs, a great defense in Clippers and then limped out of the playoffs in the WCF

I dont feel like the defense was nonexistent. Okoro was in his jersey on a few of those shots.

My problem is Altman and John-Blair Bickerstaff. I have ZERO faith in both.
 
I'm not gonna make everything about Okoro.

The cavs are too tiny everywhere right now and can't challenge a shot.

But Murray, a combo guard, is bigger than our small forward. And hes not some giant of a combo guard.

The problem is obvious.

All the important pieces have between 30-240 games worth of experience. And none of them project to be a #1 star on a good team.

The roster building is not complete.

A few key pieces are out.

Developing young players are inconsistent and still learning to play.

There’s no mystery here.

His jumper is so pure, he wont take it

Starting to wonder if they are practicing with helmets and shoulder pads on. For weeks they've been passing on open 3's to get to the rim at all cost

The Sexton/Dotson/Stevens/Mcgee lineup looks the most effective again tonight btw.
