I'd be ecstatic with this draft. @Randolphkeys I am all aboard the JOK train with you if he's somehow there at 26.

Rodgers in the 4rth? Damn. Snatch him up and that is your future Jarvis replacement right there.
I mean, these little draft games are terrible, especially this far away from the draft--but they're still fun. They start to get me in the mood to dive in.

If you told me everyone I chose in rounds 3-5 actually went by the end of round 3, I wouldn't be surprised.

Two future firsts are tough to lose, but it's just a mock draft. No reason to analyze the everliving piss out of it.

I am pretty amazed JOK was still there at 26. I'll take Samuel and Dimukeje in the real life draft, please.

I do believe you learned that wide receiver can wait until day three. You ended up with three of them!

I didn't trade away any future picks. That list states the future picks you still have, not the ones you traded away. I traded down a bunch to pick up the extra picks in this draft.

Ideally, I wouldn't have this many picks in a single draft--and some of those picks would be for future years. But, the site doesn't really offer you deals like that.

I also don't consider Felton a WR. He's a RB. I came in with two WR targets in mind if they're there, and they both were. I have a second round grade on Terry and a third/early-fourth round grade on Rodgers. I think my Josh Gordon assessment of Terry is pretty spot-on, and I don't really have a comparison for Rodgers... maybe someone like Cole Beasley? Either way, they're guys who have the potential to replace OBJ and Landry, and save us 10 million a year. That's a risk I'll take every time in the middle rounds.

To me, Felton is that speedy receiving threat that we miss. He's a fun weapon for Stefanski and Van Pelt to play with. Think of him like Reggie Bush.

He seems like more of a Duke Johnson than Reggie Bush. Tiny little dude, but he is fast and can run routes. I like a little more meat on a running back's bones.

Again, there's a lot to like about your mock and I didn't know what you meant by the picks. I would have wanted a few more defensive backs over receivers, but I'm just glad we are fully in the draft season.

Yeah, Bush was the first guy of that receiving back mold that came to mind.

You make me actually pull a receiving back comparison for him, and I think he's close to like Lynn Bowden last year? Maybe a faster James White? Duke's not a bad comparison. Just to throw a bust name in there, Ty Montgomery? Brett Kollman said Jahvid Best.

I think getting a guy like that, just as a wrinkle for our coaches to have available to them, is worth it in the later rounds. Pressure defenses. Line him up as a RB, and if the matchup is there, motion him out wide. He beat every corner at the Senior Bowl, so he'll eviscerate linebackers. They have the DB's to cover him? Cool, let our hogs attack those scrawny defenders and see if we can spring the little lightning bug for a big gain.

I was very close to selecting another corner multiple times. I think there's value to only adding one rookie to a position group. I might be an idiot for thinking so because I have nothing to back it up. I also have Gillespie rated really, really highly... so it's not like we got a late round safety. To me, that's a top-end safety selection. No reason the guy can't go in the top of the second round.

The first time I really had to think was 3/30 where I took Terry. In real life, I'm not doing that. I'm taking the guys I like more. But, in the game, I figured Gillespie, Felton and Davis would all be around late, so let's take some luxuries.

I am just glad you recognize the importance of a 7th round punter.

I honestly don't know the prospects on the board at that point, and that kid's an absolute stud punter. Whether you say "Hey, Gillan's in the last year of his deal and the Browns don't want to pay a punter" or you say "Uh... as much as we love the character of Jamie Gillan, he actually had a really bad year last year..." it seemed like actual value in the seventh.

I am not opposed to 7th round kickers and punters, both are very important to playoff teams, i was just making a joke, no need to actually justify.

I think he'd be both an upgrade and a cost-saving measure. If you can do that in the seventh, that's a bargain--at any position.

I'd be really happy with something like this.

I don't like drafting two linebackers, but Jamin Davis at 110 is stupid value. The trade-up to 144 was supposed to be for Tamorrion Terry, but he went a pick earlier. Herbert's still a great value that late in the draft.

Have you noticed how hard it is to get an A for the Browns? We’d be thrilled IRL with this. Like this is an A+. Welcome to the Tay Gowan train!

I don't pay attention to their grades.

I have to assume the grades are based off their rankings. If I agreed with their rankings, I'd just auto-pick whoever they had ranked highest. What's the point in that?

I think Tay Gowan is the last-ranked CB I'm interested in. He was a pick for need. But, I also think he can be pretty solid in the NFL. I like his size and I like his physicality. I think he can excel in a zone scheme. Honestly, I'm more comfortable with him than I am with Olifanwu, who I took for the Chargers in our mock draft.
