His numbers say the strong point of his game is passing, which agrees with what I've seen this season. It seems like a couple of times a game I'm saying, "Wow, nice pass".

I'm starting to wonder if Cedi would be effective as one of those 6'7" playmaking guards like LaMelo Ball or Ben Simmons (who's 6'11"). Cedi is an excellent passer and could post up if he were guarded by a smaller guard. He gets outmuscled by a lot of forwards.

He's not cutting it as a small forward but maybe as a shooting guard? He'd have to spend a lot of time working on his dribbling, though.
I always thought he would develop into more of a playmaking guard. I think the Cavs fucked up his development.

I think the proven way to work on a players dribbling is to force them to run the point and it will force them to tighten them up. I think they could have done that earlier in his career before Garland was drafted. It would have been ugly and hard to watch but it would have ultimately paid off because it would have open so much more of his game.

I do think if you we could find someone that he paired with well off the bench, we could have a tandem to run our second unit. Someone that can either help to smooth out his inconsistency or some who is a up and down scoring punch that Cedi can defer to when he is cold.

I don’t think Cedi is going to defer to anyone. Watch his body language if he thinks he should have got the extra pass. He’s mad at whoever shoots it. And sadly he’s upset when a teammate scores if he thinks he should have been the shooter. Just not a very good teammate at times.

I think Cedi off season practicing with LBJ and his gang a couple off seasons ago went to cedi's head. He thinks he is in that class....he is not even in that zip code. Use to like him but now he is just a me first player. He and drummond gone is fine with me. I really do not have an issue with prince...he is what he is. I like McGee but he will have value to a contender and no contract to deal with

I want to see more of wade, stevens and even dotson

His USG is like 20.2. It should be half that or less.

I’m not high on Cedi and very sick of him also, but I really don’t think this team and it’s Freelance offense is very good for him either, I think on a team that has a competent coach with an offensive system he would be much better off, cutting, only taking open shots etc

Cedi is at his best on the fastbreak. In transition off steals, deflections and long rebounds on defense.

He truly is a terror on the fly. Osman either gets a the ball to a two on one advantageous position via pass or goes in for the layup to be fouled. He's also an alert cutter on the offensive end (when others are also moving/screening and not staring at the ball or waiting for Sexland to create)

Having him be a spot up shooter is not utilizing him effectively. His best shooting seasons came when paired with LBJ and under the tutelage of Kyle Korver. I think he will look vastly improved upon the return of Larry and Kevin. He's great as a third/fourth option on offense. But the guy is simply not a PF and cannot cover such defensively.

Just hoping with Wade in the mix we're done jamming square pegs into the proverbial wrong holes.

I think Cedi has talent - good size, moves well, decent handles, great looking shot (that doesn't go in as often as it looks like it should). But there is something that's just not working in Cleveland. Sometimes a guy needs a change of scenery - new coach, new teammates, new start - to get out of a funk. I wonder if a trade might be the best thing for him and the Cavs.

Cedi does need a more veteran team around him to keep him from doing stupid Cedi-shit. Nance and Love on the floor would probably help him.
I'd still like to move on. I don't think he adds much that you can't ultimately get from Windler.

I haven’t disliked a cavs player this much since Sasha Pavlovic. Inconsistent and no self awareness. Painful to watch at times, especially if he isn’t hitting 3’s. Personally would like to see him out of the rotation or traded, extended minutes for Dotson, Windler or Stevens. Hopefully this upcoming draft we can address the small forward position.

Like I said in 2018, if Cedi was the truth, Lebron wouldn't have left. They all know what he is. A bottom of the rotation guy who you play when he gets hot. Too inconsistent with a bad attitude that makes him think he is greater than he is. He is toxic for this team and Sexland when he clanks their passes.

1-9 from the field, 0-6 from 3 I’m 24 minutes. That’s fucking horrible.
