2021 Draft Prospects Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information

26. Browns - Carlos Basham

The Browns were middle of the road in getting after the quarterback and there is little depth behind Myles Garrett. Basham is a physical freak who reinforced the notion during Senior Bowl week. Consistency will be the key to his success, but he has all the physical tools to dominate.

29. Packers - Zaven Collins
35. Falcons - JOK

59. Browns: Hamsah Nasirildeen, S, Florida State
90. Browns: Cornell Powell, WR, Clemson
92. Browns (via NO): Alim McNeill, DL, NC State

Nasirildeen is an interesting player. He had a knee injury, so it's hard to know if he has another level he can reach one more year removed from the surgery.

17. Raiders - JOK
22. Titans - Zaven Collins

26. Browns - Christian Barmore
59. Browns - Ifeatu Melifonwu
90. Browns - Jamin Davis
92. Browns - Ar'Darius Washington

Based off no information outside of this mock, Ryan Wilson is a bad draft analyst.

If JOK is there at 26 and the Browns don't take him, I'll be disappointed. If JOK lasts until 35, I'll be absolutely shocked.

He is going top 15. The drinking analyst dude said it and the tape looks legittttttt.

Chandon Herring is a guy I like quite a bit. Christensen too, but I think Herring could be available in the later rounds as a rotational piece you groom as the eventual replacement for Conklin.

Much older (25) due to a deferment for LDS missionary work.

Andrew Gribble

19. Washington — WR Kadarius Toney (Florida)
20. Bears — T Christian Darrishaw (Virginia Tech)
21. Colts — WR Rashod Bateman (Minnesota)
22. Titans — DE Jaelan Phillips (Miami)
23. Jets — WR Rondale Moore (Purdue)
24. Steelers — T Teven Jenkins (Oklahoma State)
25. Jaguars — DE Azeez Ojulari (Georgia)

26. BROWNS — LB Zaven Collins (Tulsa) - There could be some nervous moments leading up to this pick considering Collins could make a lot of sense for both the Steelers and Jaguars. That said, in this scenario, the Browns get the Nagurski Award winner who can make an immediate impact on a defense that could look a lot different from the 2020 version.

27) Ravens — C Landon Dickerson (Alabama)
28) Saints — CB Greg Newsome II (Northwestern)
29) Packers — DT Daviyon Nixon (Iowa)
30) Bills — LB Nick Bolton (Missouri)
31) Chiefs — T Jalen Mayfield (Oklahoma)
32) Buccaneers — RB Najee Harris (Alabama)

Nathan Zegura

19) Washington – WR Kadarius Toney (Florida)
20) Bears – OT Christian Darrisaw (Virginia Tech)
21) Colts – DE Gregory Rousseau (Miami)
22) Titans – Edge Jaelan Phillips (Miami)
23) Jets – LB Azeez Ojulari (Georgia)
24) Steelers – OT Jalen Mayfield (Michigan)
25) Jaguars – LB Zaven Collins (Tulsa)

26) BROWNS – LB/S Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah - With safety and linebacker versatility, Owusu-Koramoah is the kind of fast, athletic defensive playmaker the Browns covet. The ability to have Owusu-Koramoah, Grant Delpit and Ronnie Harrison Jr. on the field together will enable DC Joe Woods to play aggressive, attacking and fast defense while disguising the roles of the three talented hybrid safeties from play to play. You need to be as athletic as possible to deal with the talented offenses of the AFC North, and Owusu-Koramoah brings athleticism in spades.

27) Ravens – WR Terrance Marshall (LSU)
28) Saints – DE Joe Tryon (Washington)
29) Packers – T Teven Jenkins (Oklahoma State)
30) Bills – RB Travis Etienne (Clemason)
31) Chiefs – LB Nick Bolton (Missouri)
32) Buccaneers – LB Jabril Cox (LSU)

Jason Gibbs

19) Washington – OL Alijah Vera-Tucker (USC)
20) Bears – WR Rondale Moore (Purdue)
21) Colts – OL Christian Darrisaw (Virginia Tech)
22) Titans – Edge Jaelan Phillips (Miami)
23) Jets – LB Azeez Ojulari (Georgia)
24) Steelers – LB Zaven Collins (Tulsa)
25) Jaguars – OL Teven Jenkens (Oklahoma State)

26. BROWNS – CB Jaycee Horn (South Carolina) - You can never have enough corners. NEVER. Is it a stretch that Horn lasts this long? Absolutely. Am I trying to will it to existence? You bet I am. At pick No. 26 the question becomes do you draft best available or draft for need? If Horn's on the board, he covers both bases for you.

27) Ravens – DL Levi Onwuzurike (Washington)
28) Saints – S Trevon Moehrig (TCU)
29) Packers – WR Rashod Bateman (Minnesota)
30) Bills – RB Najee Harris (Alabama)
31) Chiefs – T Jaylen Mayfield (Michigan)
32) Buccaneers – LB Nick Bolton (Missouri)

I think everyone knows my feelings on JOK. Go Zegura. Keep my dream alive until it gets ruined on draft day by teams well ahead of us in the draft. If Joker's off the board, I like the idea of taking a highly rated corner at 26. I hope to dig into some DB tape over the next week or so.

I'd have to see who went in the top 18 of Gribble's draft before complaining.

He may have already been mentioned and I just forgot but someone who I’d like to see the Browns do their due diligence on is Cade Johnson. Small school guy, South Dakota St., but was a zero star recruit who has proven more than capable of competing. Was invited to the senior bowl and played very well. Also a very good returner who could help on special teams. Would be a great late round flier.

Browns supposedly had a meeting with Demetric Felton. Would be a terrific weapon to have, just post-senior bowl, not sure where he’s going to fall.

I'd be ecstatic with this draft. @Randolphkeys I am all aboard the JOK train with you if he's somehow there at 26.

I love it. He's the type of value pick that can really help make an offense more dynamic.

Not enough love for Jaelon Darden in here. Could be the type of electric playmaker you draft in the middle rounds if you're the Browns.

If I’m being honest, Darden has a glaring miss that he can’t go to the combine. When I see his tape, I see a lot of moves against low end talent, and I question the tape when you put him up to Felton.

There’s sort of three shifty weapon options, and they space out well.

Toney in the first. Felton in 3/4. Darden late. Not a knock on Darden, he just really suffers not being able to go apples/apples when his tape isn’t showing anything besides gadget.

Tutu Atwell? Rondale Moore?

I think Darden is electric. His change of direction is the best I've seen of any WR in this draft. Playing against lesser competition shouldn't deter anyone from him. A lot of people here said similar things about Cooper Kupp coming out of college as well.

I also think Marquez Stevenson is a good fit here
