I've sold -- and bought - guns privately that were not stolen.

I've sure you have, and I've bought and sold plenty of odds and ends using eBay/craigslist type websites.

But that wasn't the question. The question as I understood it was how somebody ends up getting busted for buying stolen goods.

None of the QB's in this draft are worth what SF just traded. None of them.

Okay -- I was just addressing this:

The only way you MIGHT be in a position to buy stolen goods on accident is if you shop at pawn shops. Otherwise, if your buddy calls you up on an amazing deal out of the back of a warehouse... your dude stole that shit.

I was just saying that there are a fair number of second-hand purchases that are legal, and guns in particular. Personally, I don't sell a gun unless I either know the person really well, or they agree to a background check.

Did they?

Robert Saleh and Shanahan likely have a back and forth about who NYJ is targeting at #2.

If its not Wilson, its likely the 49ers know that, which is why I'm not discounting that possibility.

All bets are off, to me. I don't think anyone has a clue, and that's pretty well reflected by the "takes" among experts on Twitter.

Yes.

There was an additional tweet that stated Eagles tried to move up for Wilson at 3, but ended up moving back.

That just implies they didn’t think he’d be there, and I think Fields is a great fit for SF

I'm kind of curious as to why these top of the draft trades happen now instead of on draft day. I suppose it's each side taking a bit of risk to get the price they need to pull the trigger.

Find me a more unsettling gun commercial. This aired frequently while I was an undergraduate student at Indiana University - Bloomington; goddamn, imagine how easy it is to reach the target market in southern fucking Indiana.
