Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I never said he didn’t. He 100% has that right. It’ll just be interesting to see what happens once some of the women realize at some point their identity has to become public.

I’m not saying this means all the women will drop their lawsuits or that their allegations aren’t valid, just that we’ll start to get an idea if there is some legitimacy behind all of this or if there’s some other weird shit going on.
Brother, I'm not arguing with you.

The NBA warned all teams to avoid Tulane players implicated in the point shaving scandal. Harry Weltman and the Cavaliers did their own interview and investigation. They drafted Hot Rod and were denounced in the local and national media. One writes called Weltman “morally reprehensible.”

The case was bullshit, but the NBA was understandably concerned about being tarnished. Hot Rod missed a year and was acquitted the day before the 1986 draft.

That was a criminal case with an indictment.

Very dangerous and unfair to leap to conclusions without due process. Accusers may be justified or they may have other motives.

Does anyone have a single example of an individual being condemned for not taking a public stand already on this issue?

That's certainly not something I've observed.

@Jack Brickman - perhaps correctly - observed above that "for PR purposes", the NFL would be best served putting him on the exempt list. So whatever segment of the public the NFL would be trying to satisfy in that "PR" move are the type of folks to whom I was referring. People who demand that the NFL take a stand before the evidence is fully developed.

I notice you chose not to answer the question.

I read that loud and clear.

Back to reality we go!
