If he rakes in Columbus will we see Nolan at 1B this season in Cleveland? That's where I see him eventually, but I admit that I could be wrong.

If you sort by SRS, Indians are t-8th in MLB, and they have a combined 10 games against teams #1, 5 and 6 (Chw, Cin KC). I have no idea how predictive SRS for a full season and with teams playing a max of 16 games, probably still a bit noisy.
But to be 8-7 with a positive run differential against a tough schedule.....solid start.
Is it hyperbolic to think that the Clevinger trade legitimately has the potential to be comparable to the Bartolo Colon trade for this franchise in terms of overall value in return? Considering how promising Gabriel Arias and Owen Miller appear to be and the reports coming out on Joey Cantillo, if Naylor and Quantrill are solid contributors on the big league level, last summer's trade could serve as a key piece of the new era of Cleveland baseball that we are about to embark upon over the next couple of seasons.Positive nugget for you all after a weird L.
Daniel Johnson is playing the majority of CF over Mercado (mostly in LF) and Zimmer (mostly in RF) at the alt-site.
Cantillo is going to be a helium prospect. Making MLB level hitters look bad.
Owen Miller continues to hit the shit out of the ball.
That was a great trade IMO and hats off on predicting it. If Arias puts together another season like he did in 2019 and plays like he did in ST then he may actually be our best prospect. The Clevinger trade was like Christmas for me. I almost nailed the return, as Naylor, Quantrill, Miller and Cantillo were my main targets and I would have taken that tbh. We got Arias and Hedges on top. Keep dealing with Preller
As for Cantillo, he walked 6 batters in under 4 innings at the Alt site which is atypical for him. Bimbo, what is he working on that might have caused that?

I seriously doubt Quantrill ever supersedes Civale in the pecking order. Cal's arsenal is more limited, although the stuff is greater. I don't see Cal's command ever approaching Aaron's, nor does he possess the same native ability to process what he has the way Aaron can. I'm hopeful for Quantrill, but he was handed a golden opportunity this spring and fumbled it away. That's a red flag for me.One can't help but wonder if they would resign Hernandez knowing what they know now about Miller. Good Lawd! This kid can rake. Maybe they add another nice prospect at the deadline by dealing Cesar.
I think once they work their magic with Quantrill and get his innings built up that he will surpass Civale in the rotation. That's how highly I regard him.
Yes, very much hyperbole. The Colon trade netted the Expos’ consensus #1, # 2, and #3 prospects. Is it hyperbolic to think that the Clevinger trade legitimately has the potential to be comparable to the Bartolo Colon trade for this franchise in terms of overall value in return? I think he’s talking about the production we might eventually get from the trade, not the prospect rankingsYes, very much hyperbole. The Colon trade netted the Expos’ consensus #1, # 2, and #3 prospects.
Unless we net a Cy Young award winner or a 3-time All-Star outfielder from the trade, it’s still hyperbole.I think he’s talking about the production we might eventually get from the trade, not the prospect rankings
Maybe, but we don’t know that yet. We won’t for a while.Unless we net a Cy Young award winner or a 3-time All-Star outfielder from the trade, it’s still hyperbole.
