This is a terrible time for me as an NBA fan. Look at my username, and remember I follow the OKC Thunder too.

Everything, like, really sucks and stuff right now. Once upon a time, being a Kevin Love and OKC Thunder fan was fun times. Now, not so much.

Thunder are in a better spot than the cavs...

I tried to tell some of yall about that piece of shit....
Really? It's not that deep, man. They're playing a game.

He was pissed at the refs, tried to give the ball back to the refs. Dumb move since he should have realized it was technically an inbounds pass, and refs love technicalities.

Moving along.

care to share the link to their comments?

Blatt had a phase where he benched K Love in 4th quarters in favor of guys like James Jones. No direct quote but it was rumored that he wasn’t a fan. There was also that max contract comment but I don’t think too much of that. Dwade had the altercation with him in 2018 where he demanded to know why Love had been sitting out games, questioning his competitiveness

If kidding: go ahead and post the meme of the joke flying over the dude's head.

If serious: this is an awful take. One stupid/frustrated play doesn't equate to "piece of shit." Especially when said piece of shit picked the best ten seconds of his life to play tough defense back in 2016, leading directly to the one banner we as Cleveland sports fans have dating back to the Johnson Administration.

Cleveland D-Wade and Blatt aren’t exactly guys I’d want to associate with.

i would agree that Wade is a bit of an asshole and Blatt is definitely arrogant, but they are both winners and extreme competitors. Not sure I would say the same of Kevin Love.

With the next CBA, may I humbly suggest one more round of Amnesties?

Wade showed up out of shape and dogged it in Cleveland. Not sure he has any room to speak of anything, and Love has won more than Blatt and showed his competitiveness on the biggest stage there is.

I'm really not interested in spending much more time defending a bonehead play, but it seems the people who are angry about this have been waiting to be angry at him for anything, and that's just weird to me.

Except he didn't act like a guy who had just accidentally fucked up in a close game. That happens. But usually, guys who fuck up are sufficiently embarassed about it to try that much harder on the next play to make up for it.

Love clearly just didn't give a shit. It was his reaction to the play, not the play itself, that is the issue.

If there truly was nothing unusual about that sequence, fans wouldn't have leapt on it simultaneously, JB wouldn't have had to address it in his post-game comments, and Love wouldn't have apologised.

I liked Love. I defended the calf injury because those can suck, and I thought he'd be a bonus as he got healthier in this final stretch. Saying that everyone criticizing Love for this were just people who didn't like Love and have been "waiting" for this is bogus.

I don't agree with that. To me, he appeared to be livid with the official that allowed play to continue.

Love actually sprinted back on defense the following possessions, which we all know is rare for him :chuckle:

Also, do you really believe it would take an unusual sequence to get fans to immediately pounce on Love? I certainly don't. I actually agree that it was an unusual play, but I think the reaction to it is bizarre.
