How to watch the Guardians on TV

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
My local cable company gives you the ability to watch most of their programming on your phone when out of town. My daughter watches the Cavs games in Florida off of my account.

If you have a family with cable, you might be able to watch the Tribe, using their password.

The catch is that only one person can use the programming via password at a time. The subscriber can watch on TV while you use the password, but two can't use the password.

This works with my Spectrum account.

plenty of places to get the streams for all sports if you don't have access through your normal tv option

This must be unique to your cable company. Because on Spectrum, we've had as many as 3 people in different locations watching the same game with the same account.

Sharing cable info or pirating is really the only way to go at this point.

I'll post a pic of the blackout areas later, but northeastern Ohio only has the Indians blacked out. Columbus area actually has three blackouts (Pirates, Indians and Reds) Toledo has three blackouts as well (Tigers instead of the Pirates).

The biggest issue with this there are areas in the Nation not near any MLB club with blackouts (how is that even fair...)
What an arcane system. Makes zero sense and does nothing to grow interest in the sport.

The second most annoying thing about MLB.TV (besides the fact that they blackout “local” games), is that for two fucking years in a row they have used Jake Bauers as the background if you pick the Indians as your favorite team (at least on the Amazon Fire app). So I get angry every time I launch the app, even before I watch the Indians play.

You know what upsets me about MLBtv this year? They took away the inning access on the application that runs on my Roku. I can still access a particular inning on my computer, but not on my TV. Why would you ever take away that functionality? Makes no sense.

Firestick one is even worse... you cannot even get the live radio feeds on it and it logs you out like everyday, so I guess the choose inning lost on the Roku isn't as bothersome lol (My parents TV has firestick mine has Roku lol)

Exactly with attendance limited why have blackouts. He’ll charge a extra $5 a month to lift blackouts

Ya same here why did they mess with the app? Also hate that it defaults to the live option, I almost never watch live

As long as we're picking nits, if you're like me and you watch games on delay for whatever reason, you make sure to have "hide scores on" so you can watch like it's live, not knowing who is going to win. But while they hide the scores, they still tell you if the game is over, which is fine, but why do they have to put "Final/10"? That completely ruins the game! We now know the game is going into extras, and it's going to be won or lost in the 10th inning! Idiots! Completely ruins the whole experience. I don't know if the people creating these apps are even fans. The apps continue to get worse, not better. Hell, sometimes they put a picture of the guy getting the winning hit on the screen despite having "hide scores on"!! It's aggravating.

So why am I able to watch today’s YouTube broadcast of Tribe in Cleveland viewing area but mlb.tv subjects me to the local blackout? I’m using the same ISP for both apps.

It's the game of the week or whatever they are calling it. It's like if it was on ESPN.
