Aaron Rodgers And the Issues

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
@bob2the2nd feel free to smack me around if I'm wrong.

@col63onel I think what @bob2the2nd is trying to say is that it sets a bad precedent if players are allowed to just double-dip on guaranteed money by demanding a trade. It gives even more financial incentive to players to get traded.
That’s fair, although I don’t think many are worth it to even try.

I really don't understand the Packers. They draft like a team that wants to run Rodgers out of town but then refuse to trade him.

Fixed for Rodgers.

He just came off his best season ever arguably. You image Rodgers in this system, with this line, with our running game?

The entire team is built perfectly for Rodgers. Ideally, we'd be trading Baker to another team for assets if we were even going to consider this.

The Browns will never tip their hat publicly they're interested in this, for morale purposes.

I hope behind the scenes they're at least keeping tabs on it. If it wouldn't take something like 3 first round picks or something ridiculous.

2 first round picks? You bet I would. It'd be a late first round pick, and you'd be trading away Baker and getting at least a first in return.

Baker's ceiling is not Aaron Rodgers, even Rodgers at the next 2-3 years. Aaron Rodgers gives us a real shot at winning the Super Bowl.

I feel Super Bowl is very much fantasy land at this point. Baker is good, but he's not great. Let's face it, you need a great QB, or at least an all-time great defense if you're knocking out Mahomes.

I don't think we have either.

I agree with the talent level but can we afford Rogers and be able to keep the rest of the team intact?
