How long until this thread is noticeably affected by Godwin's Law?

Godwin's law, short for Godwin's law (or rule) of Nazi analogies,[1][2] is an Internet adage asserting that as an online discussion grows longer (regardless of topic or scope), the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Adolf Hitler becomes more likely.

I had a joke, but probably the wrong thread for it, and even a bit off color for even me, lol. But very interesting on Goodwin's law.

I remember Rosie Greer wrote "Needlepoint for Men." That was a big deal back in the day.

It was the 70's. Things were different back then. Sheese. I did needle point back in the 70's. Won a ribbon at the Canfield fair. Third place, but it was still a ribbon. But needlepoint for men died with disco.

If statistics play out and extend to professional athletes, there are around 50-70 gay NFL players.

And there is one big name that would really drive the conversation.

But he has thus far declined to come out. And has doubled-down on the smoke-screen.

If the long-standing rumors are to be believed.

OBJ is the first one that comes to mind. Wasn’t it like a year or so ago that there were a ton of rumors about him?

Also, when you said doubling down on the smoke screen Deshaun Watson came to mind. It’d be a pretty big extent to go with his current situation, but that’s the only person I could think of in terms of a very high profile player currently involved in some type of controversy/situation.

That would certainly rank Olivia Munn as one of the hottest beards of all time.
Incidentally, Shaileine Woodley has at least in the past been openly bisexual, also...

Its the biggest story in sports for the next 2.5 hours, then America will move on to the draft. Deep breaths, it's not too big for any of us.

But it’s not Browns related and not even football related. It’s a personal choice that has zero affect on the game. It’s a political topic that belongs in a different area of the website.

Or are we again picking and choosing what’s allowed based or certain sides.

How is it a political topic? Being gay or straight has nothing to do with politics.

If you want to argue the thread belongs in Around the NFL, I won't argue with you, though.

The mainstream sports media already made the call on both of these points, you just don't personally agree with the result.
