So this is how Lillard leaves Portland? What a weird turn of events that will lead us to a long summer of Lillard in horribly photoshopped non-Blazer jerseys.

The Mavs have to do everything possible to get Lillard if he becomes available, right?

All these “experts” saying Lillard to the Lakers, what on earth could they possibly give up for him?

You know LeBron has been pining for Lillard for like going on 4 years now?

The Lakers smoke is all Klutch propaganda to control the narrative and force it to happen the same way they did with Anthony Davis.

Fortunately, the Lakers have nothing to trade for Dame.

KCP, Harrell, Kuzma and picks. Which won't get it done.

The "let's get crazy" idea is AD for Dame. It sounds wild at first but many not as much when you consider AD has played 70+ games just twice in 9 seasons.

It'd never happen since AD is with Klutch and he just re-signed with LA, but it's probably the only way Dame goes there unless Portland takes a lesser deal as a going away gift to him.

....so he wants out because a handful of peopl me are being mean to him on Twitter? Sounds like a ready made excuse to demand a trade after the team called his initial bluff and actually hired the guy he told them he wanted.

Showing both of these and there timestamps to illustate something. Some of these guys get too much credit for “breaking” stories and for who “breaks“ the story first.

So a lot of people would look at these two tweets and go “haha, Woj beat Stein/broke the story’s first” but in reality, neith guy is breaking a story. They’re simply retweeting the info from a press release from the Australian National Team.

Now clearly, sometimes Woj, Shams, and other guys do truly break rumors and trades, but a lot of shit is just who has the quickest fingers in tweeting out team or agent mass sent press releases.

Why this matters to me to the point of making a post about it I have no idea lol.

The Lakers would have to include Kyle K, Dennis S, and still have to more cap room to get Lillard. But the league will find a way to help Tinseltown and LBJ rebuild their roster for another Finals appearance.

Yeah the Woj/Shams stuff always confuses me. How do they consistently break news before local beat writers who might have access to the agents or can refresh team press releases just the same? I used to think maybe beat writers are beating them but don't have the clout or followers on twitters but nope, they beat them too. Closest thing I found is agents/teams give them the scoop for so they themselves can decide the narrative. If that's the case can they even be considered journalists? Adam Schefter was so far ahead, that he sat on Aaron Rodgers wanting to leave Green Bay and dropped it on draft night lol.
