Welcome Ochai Agbaji from the future

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I was telling you leave my thread captain one liner.
Agbaji doesn't get drafted in the lottery in 2020 and I will forfeit my
realcavsfans account. until then he is far from some random ass player,
but that's the point of making the thread, no stat junkies that rank players
based on production know diddly and easy to spot as they never acknowledge
that game recognizes game better than any other factor.

he was the best player on his team in HS scoring and rebounding at elite levels. he is a underappreciated high iq nba prospect that was slept on by scouts and due to their sleeping despite showing flashes as a temporary patch pulled from redshirt status ,
followers like yourself remain clueless.
This aged well.

This thread has been a hoot over the years. Get ready for “Ochai Agjabi: Final Season“ as we all breathlessly await his entry into the 2022 Draft.

He‘s likely to end up a two-way player and then decide to play for Nigeria, where he’ll torch Team USA for 28 points in the run up to the 2024 Olympics. Then we’ll never hear the end of it.

I, for one, am greatly relieved that @Ozone elected to remain. It would be a sad day when RCF lost a wordsmith of his ingenuity.

"Captain One Liner". Fucking Gold!
@Ozone and @Los216 would have been legendary foils for the Late Great Pete Franklin. We may not have the best sports teams in Cleveland but I wouldn‘t trade Cleveland fandom for anywhere else. Browns Backers for example was a worldwide organization long before we had cell phones.

For those too young to know Pete - he had a legendary sports talk show throughout most of the 70s and 80s. His #1 foil was “Mr. Know It All” - aka Mike Trivissano. He loved the Cavaliers and had an all out war with Ted Stepien that Pete won. Franklin eventually went to 660 WFAN in NYC when they went all sports, but he didn’t do well there and was replaced by Mike and the Mad Dog.

Thanks for the nice comp. I get this all the time. Two differences between Pete Franklin and I:

1) I’d never go to NYC. Total small market guy.
2) He was far better looking than me

After his New York flop, he landed in San Francisco and laid out the sports broadcast blueprint for the station at KNBR I listen to all the time. I only add that last part because he didn't end his career as a small market guy who couldn't handle a big market... New York didn't appreciate a good thing.

Agbaji, the No. 67 prospect in the ESPN 100, will go into next season as a potential first-round pick and Big 12 Player of the Year candidate. He is one of the best defenders in the college game, standing 6-foot-6 with a 6-10 wingspan and a strong 214-pound frame. He improved his perimeter shooting and could very well make another jump next season, as he turned 21 in April and has been on an upward trajectory in each of the past three years.

So he turned 21 3 months ago and was rated low enough to not get drafted this year?

I sleep.

He will be in play for the Cav in the 2nd round next year tho

Yeah, like what's his top end ceiling here? He has a Davion Mitchell-like rise? mid to late 1st if he shows any sort of offensive development?
