1. Monsoon and Ventura

2. Ventura and Shiavone

3. Ross and Lawler during the Rock and Stone Cold era.

Those are my top 3 WWF announcer teams
I loved Monsoon & Heenan. Comedy gold. Anytime I heard Monsoon say "will you stop" I'd rewind it just to hear a joke I may have missed.

I actually wasn't allowed to watch pro wrestling growing up. My parents thought it was dumb hillbilly shit. My neighbors, two brothers and a sister, were allowed to watch it all the time - and they had Kool Aid! So I'd disappear over the fence every week.

Can I point out that WWF was the Transformers of pro wrestling, and WCW was the Go Bots? Here's my proof:

I wont dispute that but WWF/E had they're share of early days dumb ideas as well...

The List is one of my favorite things, wrestling or otherwise, of all time.

Has me on the edge of my seat every time.
It reminded me of his 1001 moves promo when fueding with Dean Malenko. He just pulled out a scroll and read them during Nitro and through a commercial break. Every other move was an arm bar. Absolutely hilarious.

The culmination of it with the Festival of Friendship and then Owens revealing his own list with Jericho’s name on it was amazing as well. Those guys took an absolute shit gimmick and made it the most over act in wrestling.

Yup. And John Morrison, who I think is back in WWE right now, although I haven't really watched any wrestling the past year or two outside of NXT Takeovers and a couple of WWE's big shows. I caught a few AEW PPVs too but it's tough for me to get into wrestling without crowds. Maybe now that they're coming back it'll be more palatable for me.
JoMo is back and honestly he's killing it as Johnny Drip Drip with the Miz. They were pretty funny during the pandemic stuff. Made some music videos together. A+ shit

Perfect time to get into AEW right now. They are building new feuds towards their PPV in September with rumors swirling of Daniel Bryan and CM Punk being signed, not to mention Tommy End (Aleister Black) and Andrade just recently debuted. They got tons of momentum right now.

Best tag team of all time?

Head Cheese! Goldust and Booker T could give them a run for their money though.

They were in Chicago during that Nitro and when they went to commercial he did a typical heel promo to get heat.. the bears suck. The bulls suck. Etc etc. Had the place booing the hell out of him coming back from commercial.
